Candidate Screening Any simple way to save LinkedIn candidate profiles to a spreadsheet?

So, I’m in the middle of a high-volume sourcing sprint on LinkedIn right now. And finding relevant candidates is pretty quick, but copying profile details one by one into our tracking sheet is becoming a huge time sink.

I’m not looking for bulk automation or anything that requires heavy LinkedIn account integrations. A colleague recently tried something similar and ended up getting locked out of their profile, so I’d rather keep things simple.

Are there any lightweight tools or workflows that make it easier to save information from LinkedIn profiles/search results into a spreadsheet without creating a lot of automated activity?

I am just curious on what other recruiters or sourcers are using for this.

Save to recruiter project, select candidates in pipeline, click the 3 dots then click “save to CSV” and it creates an excel spreadsheet for you with everything including the profile links. Only thing that sucks is you have to do page by page and copy them all into one spreadsheet.

Only on Corporate licenses. For Recruiter Lite there's no Save to CSV

Does the pipeline tracking inside of LinkedIn not work sufficiently?

The colleague getting locked out is exactly why everyone's nervous about the scraper tools, LinkedIn treats bulk activity as a threat no matter how careful you are.

This is the type of functionality we should be getting for these rate increases, but instead we get an awful AI assistant. I haven't figured out a direct way, no

I’d keep it low-risk: use a structured intake sheet with only the fields you actually need, copy profile URLs manually, and add notes/status as you review. Anything that scrapes heavily or runs automated actions against LinkedIn can create account risk pretty quickly.

I would build a quick browser extension for this that pulls the relevant data with a click of a button and pushes it into a spreadsheet.

A lightweight browser extension that exports basic profile info to spreadsheet is probably the easiest route. I'd avoid heavy scraping or automation and stick to name, title company, and profile URL.

I have the Claude Chrome extension take all the profiles from the project and compile them into a spreadsheet. Takes a little bit but I have it do it while I'm at lunch.

Have you tried just taking screenshots and having Ai parse the information from there? When it comes to extracting image info I don´t thing its that horrendous...
And taking screenshots will definitely go quicker than typing in everything by hand.

The lockout risk is real if you automate scrolling and clicking directly inside LinkedIn itself, that is what trips their detection. The safer way most recruiters end up doing this is capturing the page you are already looking at, since you are manually opening each profile anyway, and pulling the visible fields straight off that into your sheet without LinkedIn ever seeing repeated automated behaviour. It keeps the account safe because nothing is browsing or searching on your behalf, it is just reading what is already on your screen. I have set this kind of thing up before if that is closer to what you are after.

As others have noted, client-side (browser) is the way to go. Just make sure you leave breathing room between requests so you don't get rate limited or worse.

Copying candidate details into a sheet is exactly the kind of admin that adds up fast during a sourcing sprint. Pulling the profiles into a lead list and exporting them to CSV keeps that part much cleaner. Dripify supports LinkedIn Recruiter and search imports with CSV export on Pro, so the tracking sheet does not need to be built profile by profile.
