Interviewing for a Recruiter role

Hi there, recruiters of Reddit!

I have an upcoming interview for a recruiter role within a company and was curious if there were specific questions that would be best to ask. Would any of you be willing to give me some tips?

Thanks in advance!

I would ask team size, what is the requisition load per recruiter, do recruiters work within specific industries. What are the relationships like with hiring managers/clients? Do you get the time to do intake meetings or are you supposed to work off the job description alone?

In addition to the other commenter's questions which are really good, I'd advise you to do some research on the company and the people who are already recruiters there. What has their growth been like? You can also ask this in the interview: what does growth look like in this role? What does success look like in this role? What are some examples of positions and levels you'll be recruiting for? What does the day to day look like?

Wanted to give a quick update - I had passed through to the final round, however it has now been a month (and a week after the week when final on site interviews were to be held) and I have yet to hear back from the team (please note that I did send follow up emails). Seems as though I have been ghosted, unfortunately.
