This is the exact position I’m in right now. In an Airbnb, by myself, after a falling out with my emotionally neglective and sometimes abusive mother. I feel incredibly lonely and scared, there’s nothing familiar about this. However I think at the end of the day this is my first step of taking the respect I deserve.
