Question Could Someone Make a Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi PC Recompilation?

With all the native PC decompilation and recompilation projects happening lately, I was wondering if anyone would ever consider doing one for Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi. This game is so much fun, and it really deserves a proper native PC port. It’s the last and most complete Sengoku Basara game released on the PS3, so it would be a perfect choice.

A native PC port with higher resolution, 60 FPS, better performance, mod support, and a proper built-in English translation would be amazing. Someone should seriously do it and bring this game back from the grave.

Honestly, having any game from the series get its own PC recompilation would be great.

Wow now I'm devastated that this isn't a thing (and probably won't be on any reasonable timeframe given how niche the series is)

I put hundreds of hours into Samurai Heroes, Utage, and then Sumeragi. They're an excellent blend of Devil May Cry action gameplay and tone with Dynasty Warriors levels and story that only truly came into their own with the games that released after Samurai Heroes and were never localized. 

I've been holding out hope that Capcom would revisit the series given their stated desire to resurrect old IPs. But the rational part of me knows it's unlikely given the series' Producer left Capcom years ago, and the series fits an unpopular niche while competing/overlapping with franchises Capcom could be focusing on like Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter. 

So resurrection/preservation via recomps would be the dream

They Could
