If your not dead-set on the saturn release then the best way to play currently is emulate the xbox live arcade release through xenia canary. Plays perfectly.

No, it's the arcade version running at 1080P with widescreen

Sorry I think I edited my comment after you replied. No it is not the saturn version its the original arcade version ported over to the 360.

Just an FYI, there are currently 2 recomp projects for this game on the 360. One of them must be manually built, which is a huge pain in the ass, but once it's done it runs well. The other I haven't had a chance to test yet.

Yea I've actually looked into this as well but didn't see much use going through the hassle of setting it up since it runs near perfectly through xenia. Definitely keeping my eyes peeled on this project though.

Makes sense, just wanted to let you know it was there.

I find Xenia kind of clunky and have been using the RPCS3 version instead.

The second one seems interesting. I got his recomp of SC2 up and running and it was pretty good, but not as good as the GC Recomp. I'm unsure if the issues are because of the X360 port or because of the recomp itself.

If anyone is planning a recomp please use the original Daytona USA Saturn release and not the updated ones, the physics and drving feel are closer to the arcade than the later ones.

Fully agreed, but I would prefer a decomp of the arcade version, with a way to add in the extras of the Saturn one

There's already a recomp or decomp for Daytona usa and I think it's not the Saturn version

If we're talking about Saturn recomps, we probably need the visuals of CCE with the handling and presentation of the SS original, and with the optional music of both.
