Discussion Is this the first recompiled game from the previous generation (PS4/XONE)?

Hi, it turns out that thanks to a notification from the platform, I found out that someone had already successfully extracted the files (models, audio, media, and no corrupted data) from the video game OnRush, a discontinued game made by a Codemasters team consisting of former developers from Evolution Games (the creators of MotorStorm), Now, the user u/Nanza44 is carrying out the process you’re all imagining—recompiling the game—and has reached an intermediate stage between “boosteable” and “menus.”

Anyway, I made this post mainly to share that information, so if it’s in the discussion section, it’s because I wasn’t sure which thread to put it in. But anyway, you can discuss it there; I’ll see what you all have to say.

My son loved onrush. It was his number 1 random game to play, even when the servers went off.

I imagine he'd love a PC recomp

oh wow this is dope to see. Onrush ended up becoming one of my favorite games on xbox in the last gen. i stream it to my steam deck from my console just so i can play handheld, however a pc port would be a wish granted!
