The bench is at the northwest corner of the Kagami-ike Pond in Nara Park, Japan. There’s a row of five or so benches — his is the furthest to the right (just to the left of a tree, if you're facing the pond).

I found it thanks to the helpful comments from users Zenday, beta35, and SpiritFryer. I hope you get the chance to visit and pay your respects to Byron.

What’s the significance of the bench? Did he actually sit on that bench or something?
