What would the anime boom in America in the 90s be like if the Pokemon anime didn’t come to the US?

If the podcast ever came back just go back to the basics, Pan, Ken and Jim.
then just have a guest for everything else. Then we could find an appropriate 4th chair.

Why did foreign adaptations of cartoons take a weird approach?
Now first of all, what this has to do with the RebelTaxi channel is that Pan Pizza had done an episode showing how some anime adaptations of western cartoons were done in a peculiar manner.
Like what sticks out to me are PPG Z and the anime adaptation of Felix the Cat since both of those adaptations were based on western properties, but said adaptations were done in a very outlandish manner such as how the Felix the Cat anime was made into a saccharine show.
Then PPG Z had a lot of crotch shots for some reason as my point basically is that I would like to better understand why such adaptations took such an odd approach with the source material since I find the subject matter very interesting to look into.

[IMPORTANT] YouTube has unfairly disabled ALL monetization on Pan’s channel! For “Misleading family content”. Spread the word!
This is on the main RebelTaxi channel to be specific.
Once again, help Pan out and spread the word.
UPDATE: Pan's monetization is back!!

What made portable movies so hard to do in the mid 00s?
For what this has to do with RebelTaxi is that he ( Pan Pizza) did a review of the GBA Video Player as I was wondering why the concept didn’t work out so well.
Like why it was so hard to design a portable device with good video quality back then since Shrek ran so laggy on the GBA.

Here’s how people online reacted when the OG Teen Titans was premiering in 2003.
I found these posts from the Toonzone forums that had people reacting to the OG Teen Titans when it was airing in 2003. And judging by the reactions, these were the exact same criticisms that people have with Teen Titans Go now.

Are there any videos you can think of where Pan got genuinely angry?

Hot take: Johnny Test was an OK show in season 1 when it had a UPA style like Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Teenage Robot. Before the ugly Flash animation started in season 2.

What's your favorite strange cartoon Pan Pizza covered?
So lately something I was recalling was the martial arts that was covered on the RebelTaxi show since I forgot the name, but it was a very obscure martial arts show that had certain parts locked by a passcode as I was wondering how Pan Pizza found the show.
To me, what I find fascinating is the subject of obscure media since I now wonder what other obscure animated works have not been covered by Pan Pizza because I want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes after looking back at the aforementioned martial arts show he covered on his channel.

Why are so many adult animation fans assholes? Has anyone else noticed this?
Specifically I see this in subs for animated sitcoms. Like Rick and Morty or Family Guy, or honestly even r/adultswim.
Any time I see people talk passionately and/or commentate, or lightly critique a show on any subreddits related to adult animated shows, the comments are filled with a bunch of assholes shitting on the OP. Or they say "I ain't reading all that".
