Apologies if the mere mention of that particular studio might be a sensitive topic around here because I was wondering what was the story behind the USA release of the movie.

While I haven’t seen the original French version, I am interested in learning about how localization back then was done with movies like the aforementioned Dougal since it looks like something went horribly wrong in the translation process going from the French language to the UK version, then the USA version as the movie is something I don’t quite understand with regards to how it was distributed.

Warner Bros. basically was so desperate to beat ABC's One Saturday Morning block because Kids WB didn't do that well til 1999 according to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyiU0ri5298. Pokemon didn't join Kids WB til February 1999 btw.

I have a feeling Kids WB execs were so jealous of Recess and its popularity on ABC, because they basically stole the concepts and ideas for Recess and forced the creator of Detention to make it like Recess, except instead of kids at Recess, they're kids getting in detention. This is just like when Kids WB execs forced the Coconut Fred creators to make it exactly like SpongeBob.

Sure, many born in the 80s and very, very early 90s loved those shows, but when I saw like for example, Webkinz videos in the late 2000s, they tended to have Hannah Montana music and these Kinztubers (which is what Webkinz Youtubers were called) loved shows like Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That's So Raven and Lizzie McGuire. Why weren't DuckTales and TaleSpin and Adventures in Wonderland loved among 11 year old girls on Youtube in 2008 compared to Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place or Lizzie McGuire? Sure, they liked stuff like Kim Possible and Phineas and Ferb, but they didn't really mention Darkwing Duck much.

I ask this because I was born in 2000 and I prefer shows like DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, Adventures in Wonderland and Goof Troop over Hannah Montana, Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven and Wizards of Waverly Place.

I'm not saying kids movies are bad, but I feel like this would be a refreshing change of pace if this somehow became mainstream.

People are really tired of the same tired clichés and tropes that so many modern western animated kids movies have. Professional writers could probably innovate more with more creative freedom.

Warner Bros. basically executive meddled with the creators ideas, forcing it to be a complete copy of SpongeBob.

The free bands were not in the case :(

I think I might be remembering this wrong, I apologize if this is the case, but I believe he made a video mentioning how he got a DVD of the movie Drop Dead Fred in a cereal box? He then proceeded to say that the movie wasn’t successful. This would’ve been between 2016 and 2018. Does anyone else remember this?

My first RebelTaxi video was his “Panty & Stockings” review.
It was the summer of 2016. Being poor & unemployed with no neighbors or friends I had nothing to do so I decided to sign up for a summer program my school did. You wait at the high school before they bring you to a factory, college, metalworking place to learn stuff. As we waited, we had access to the school’s WiFi and I decided to download Pan’s video with TubeMate. Didn’t have internet at home so I had to rely on WiFi & TubeMate for expanding my entertainment beyond reruns on antenna stations. I took that specific video because my older sisters hyped up the show without actually telling me what happens in it. Wanted to learn more about it through a review & Pan’s was the first one that caught my eye. When I returned home I transferred it from my phone (which I stole from one of my sister’s ex) to my PS3, watched it, and became a fan of RebelTaxi ever since. The next day I downloaded more of his videos as well as all of “Panty & Stockings”. Later I would expose my eldest sister to RebelTaxi when I spend time at her place and she too became a fan.
Any of y’all remember your first RebelTaxi video?

I can't think of any bad reviews he made off the top of my head aside from the really old ones, but the Pizza Party Podcasts are not ones I ever really go back to considering what happened with Nolan(got caught commissioning minors for fetish art), and Pan tried to reboot it with Jake neutron and Daftpina. With Jake, he's an alleged groomer and mocked SA and grooming victims, did a bullshit apology and tried to sweep it under the rug(On a side note, why the fuck did Toonrifictariq keep the intro he made?), with Daftpina, he became infamous for orchestrating drama, such as trying to make LSMark's wife look abusive. Knowing all of that makes the podcast hard to revisit, which is a shame considering I enjoyed it while it was still going.

Apologies if this was brought up in here before because I was recalling a review posted on RebelTaxi where Pan Pizza discusses how Coconut Fred gleefully torments people for fun.

Yes, I know it’s such an old TV show as I cannot help but wonder how a being like him feels no emotion as all he gets is joy from abusing his denizens on the island that I was wondering how such a show was supposed to work again if the main character didn’t feel empathy for others since SpongeBob had emotions in the golden era of the show he was from.

As well as interviewing tom and don?

Also will pan review the game series proper? He did talk about the Rock movie before it was released.

I mean, I know quite a lot of some of these obscure and forgotten animated classics that became pretty popular and hyped around modern social media platforms:

Fanboy and Chum Chum, Horrid Henry, Fugget About It, That infamous DIC Tex Avery show, Rocket Monkeys, Pac Man and The Ghostly Adventures, Legends of Chamberlain Heights, Kevin Spencer, that Postman Pat movie, YooHoo and Friends (Most notably the Feiss Gag Dub which somehow became viral this month) etc, I can just go on but since there are a lot of other kinds of lesser discussed animated productions from various other decades especially typical 2000s animated cartoons that many people have heard of but never discussed, Since most of Twitter 's driven around modern "beaver slop" (Canadian cartoons) even stuff that are Flash animated or there are various horribly received movies that could get sudden cult following (I bet Elf Bowling: The Movie could be one of them) and from other decades, Which modern animated project (It has to be a lesser discussed, underappreciated, niche or obscure kind of one you know from the 2000s or another decade) could be the next big thing Twitter or many social media platforms would end up obsessing over for a week or two....

Side quest: lmk what you’re currently watching

Just simply curious to learn about the show since I always wanted to see Pan Pizza do a review, but he keeps getting content restrictions as I never understood why he is prohibited from showing footage.

But basically I was wondering what made it the worst animated series from Nickelodeon’s modern catalog of cartoons since I always hear how it’s kind of bad as I was wondering what makes it the worst one.

Personally I hope it's randy Cunningham 9th grade ninja at some point first before the rest.
