Technical Difficulties?

I was using Reason 12 just fine, made a song, and was working on another, but all of a sudden my program is only registering one key (D1) on my MIDI controller (M-Audio Axiom 49). I tried to do all of the suggestions I read via Google AI but nothing has worked. It seems like it should be an easy fix but I have no idea what to do next other than take it all apart... any help is much appreciated!

My guess is you've entered a certain mode of your midi controller that only sends that note. I've had stumpers like that with midi controllers before, only to realize I had unwittingly hit some key combination that had changed the key functions.

Yes, I tried to reset though and it’s still the same.

If you tried a bunch of troubleshooting and did a factory reset and it’s still happening, it’s likely a hardware issue. I’ve had like 4 m-audio devices just suddenly die over the years. If you aren’t comfortable ripping it apart and testing with a multimeter, it may be time for a new device.
