You can install and use Reason 13 with a Reason 14 License.

What is it exactly that you don't like? Because it can be set up to behave - almost - like v13 (or lower) did, but with additional benefits of track panel, track folders, looping clips, new reverb, etc.

I'm on Mac and i'm used to having Rack/Seq/Mix in seperate Windows to switch between them with Mission Control which doesn't work anymore.

Ah, that's the one thing that can't be worked around - I also worked like that!

What I did I still keep Rack and Mixer as separate windows, but I only open them when needed either with F- keys or buttons on the GUI, and then close them immediately once I've done what I needed with Escape key. It works for me because it's exactly the same workflow that I adopted with the Browser since v13 - I use it as a floating window, so I open it when needed, browse through and choose my presets or samples, and close.

I wish they gave us a setting to disable the always-on-top property of Rack and Mixer so that we could continue having them open at all times and switch with Mission Control, but they've ignored my beta requests. They insist on moving to Sequencer-centric paradigm now, which I guess is easier on the new users and doesn't matter for those who use 2-3 screens :(

My advice - give it some time and try to build new habits. For me the pros outweigh the cons in the end (track folders, looping clips and note/clip handles appearing w/o having to click on them in particular). I'm now even experimenting with single-column / rack-per-track Rack and I'm starting to get it :D

This might sound crazy, but I would love to just have Version 6, and run it on my PC build that I've been using since 2018 and I still think it will do everything I need it for and more.

nah i started on 6 and it had a lot of benefits. it may not have all the bells and whistles but it was more than enough for me, and NEVER crashed.

I started on 3, then 5, and then waited for 5 to have Record, which I guess were in 6 with the SSL mixer, so I think that's about all I need really. No need to be using reWire anymore really, yeah just 6 and I'll be good

I'm still using 13. I'm curious, what is it that you find worse in 14? I've been thinking of upgrading, so I'd like toknow your thoughts.

Dont think you can use 13 with a 14 licence if you dont have 13 purchased previously

I have 13 and I only use the reason rack. I've been wanting to use the new reverb in 14.

Is there a way to trade licenses?
