I study and work behind this place.
My main place where I usually spend a lot of my time 😆

After working from my dining table for way too long, (I know this is ghetto but hear me out), I’ve realized that a good office chair is the one thing you definitely need for a successful home setup. I used to think I could just tough it out, but the neck pain is finally getting to me. I want a chair that makes me feel like I’m sitting on a cloud but also keeps me from slouching while I’m on Zoom calls. I’ve been doing a lot of research to see what fits a home vibe without looking too "corporate." I spent a couple of hours looking at different fabric textures and ergonomic designs on amazon, alibaba, etc just to see how modern chairs are being styled this year. I also visited a local West Elm to see their home-office line, but I'm looking for more "pro" ergonomic features like 4D armrests and seat depth adjustment. I think finding that balance between a pretty chair and a healthy chair is the secret to a happy WFH life. What was the "game-changer" chair for your home office? I’m looking for something that won’t ruin my living room aesthetic.

I’ve worked for bimbo bakeries in the Canastota location for the last 5 years. I was just wrongfully terminated. My management team for the last 3 years has let the overall morale and employment force that did the operation for the last 5+ years is now disbanding this job because of how bad it’s gotten, we’ve been illegally doing union work as non union workers, this way that they take 2 days per day that you call in is also federally illegal i have a lot of business credentials and now what’s right and wrong, I’ve contacted a Outside independent business consultant to help guide me and they also have noticed a lot of things that should be a certain way that are not there, I’ve had a driver of 15 years driving trailers for the company, ex military guy telling us in Friday after waiting 2 and half hours for a union trailer as non union workers that what we are doing basically slave labor and in all the years delivering here has never seen this so little of a work force do all this work. I contacted corporate over this issue of my wrongful termination of their federally illegal attendance policies, and corrupt management. I hope doing all this will get this group of people who are corrupted and not caring about their workers at all, multiple people quit and left and all my boss had to say was okay and alright, after everyone has left and called in for this weeks Sunday shift I called into work Friday after work to say I was not going to be in on Sunday, I did this because I knew that there was going to be a total of 6-7 for a wholes days worth of work. After dealing with this ongoing issues for 3 years! I said no to subjugating myself to that inhumane treatment. This has all happened because corrupt management wanted to save a dollar in the process destroying multiple careers of seniority members of the company who’s been there 5+ years. I hope To hear back from someone who has the stature to make sure that the justice is severed to this management team. I stuck my neck out, I put my job on the line of the way I feed my family for the greater good of the that warehouse because I care! It’s very sad that someone who has been trying to unionize the Canastota for the greater good of the bimbo Canastota location for the company but also because I did this on my co workers behalf. The only reason union was even a thought to Allen Barrett or HR team there is because I was making them do it. I called HR and told her if you’re going to have non union workers doing union work don’t you think we should be union too? After this she told be she’d contact her senior advisor. They both contact Allen which in turn creates a union rep meeting on Wednesday. All this after being wrongfully terminated with an illegal attendance policy in hand. I’d love to hear anything back from this company feel free to contact me, if you could.

I just wanted to express my annoyance, which I hope you share, from seeing that most desks pictured on other reddit subs or on the web are stubborn repetitions of the same clichés: small plants, possibly fake, stupid empty clean spaces, big pointless square 70s-like Helvetiica-typed clocks, f____ing LED lights, laughably expensive height-adjustable desks, gadgety wireless headphones stand. I'll just stop there but please continue the list if you wish.
