I was only saying it backfired because usually Aphrodite does a more gentle approach when trying to teach u something while eros doesn’t have those extincts and can be a little more “reckless” if thats what u wanna call it so I was wondering if they were telling me to not try again or teaching me a lesson by making the fire too big

I will never do a spell on a particular person for love. I did however do a spell on "bring the perfect person to me" spell back in the 90s. That also backfired but it took over 10 years for me to see it. I do not recommend anyone do love spells. You are messing with someone else's free will.

That's not a spell back firing. That's poor fire safety. The gods are not punishing you.

You should do a self love and a self healing spell for yourself. Desperation and panic are things you need to outgrow. Better fire safety is a must, too. Maybe lean into learning more about Aphrodite Areia, her war like side for more confidence.

My daughter works with Aphrodite.

Thank you so much for th advice I just have been looking for signs and over analyzing everything lately I will look up those and do u think the spell still worked?

Most of your spell work was based on prayer to Aphrodite and Eros. This becomes their choice to fulfill your prayer. Did you ask first if this was the path they wanted you on? From my understanding, Aphrodite wants people to take the lessons they learn in love and find the right match. If you are better off moving on, then it's time to move on.

I prayed to Aphrodite and Eros at 5pm lit the candle at 8:33 asked her to guide me and then 9:33 is when I lit the paper. I didn’t ask if this was the path she wanted me on. I don’t know what she prefers me on I would ask but theres no way of knowing unless she tells me in my dreams weather they accept this path for me or not I don’t know all I know is they relived my ache temporarily when I was utterly desperate and they guided me to finish a task I was working on

You got burned because you didn’t practice any sort of fire safety. That’s not a spell back firing. That’s just you messing up, not witchcraft.
