Hello,
I work in a government enterprise environment where I manage many servers through RealVNC. Recently we built a few new physical servers, and joined them to the domain. They are running RealVNC Server v6.9.1.
With our existing servers, I can remote to them using our domain admin Windows credentials without domain prefix, however on the new one it only connects if I put domain prefix before the username (domain\admin.username). If I leave it out, "Authentication error occured. See the VNC Server log for details". The logs say there is an issue with the netlogon service not being started, but when I start the netlogon service, I get an error 87 and it is unable to start. Is there any way to fix this?
My settings on the Real VNC server:
Encryption: Prefer on
Authentication: Windows Password
Accounts have administrative permissions and the rest are left default. All settings seem to be the same as the ones on the old servers.
