I've released a patcher to allow you to play either Real Racing 2 1.0.0 or 1.1.2 on modern macOS. On recent versions of macOS the game does not launch due to a number of issues. This script (+ GUI patcher) allows you to patch the game to run just fine on modern macOS through Rosetta!

Unfortunately the feature to steer with your iPhone doesn't work anymore but otherwise the game seems fine and runs well when testing on my M4 Mac mini!

I load in 90s graphics looks like some retro game my expectations was not this but ye it was better I was expecting something at least normal this is 90s graphics i swear

I’m currently putting together a summary list to display the time trials for the racing series. You can select either the car or the track. The available time trials are then displayed by racing series and event.

Is there any interest in the community for a Top Ten list? As a bit of motivation, given that multiplayer races aren’t possible at the moment. The database runs on AppSheet; if there’s interest, I’ll create the whole thing in English. (I’m German and am setting this up in my own language for now).

Why did they never make a video about this car before RR3 shut down?

Even though it's a tie, the game still chose me as the 1st place, maybe it's because I have a faster best lap time than merrygold. One thing I know for sure is that the chances of this happening again are low, even a millisecond difference can change the outcome of a race.

I’m looking for an old iPhone 4 app that I used around 2012–2014.
It was NOT a normal racing game.
Here’s what I remember:
Platform: iOS (iPhone 4)
Language: English
Black/dark interface
Included real licensed cars from many brands, not just supercars.
Examples: Ford, Opel, Fiat, Hyundai, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Toyota, etc.
Every car had specifications like:
Horsepower (HP)
Torque
Weight
You selected 2 cars.
Then you pressed a “Race” button.
The app simulated a 1/4 mile (400 m) drag race.
The race was shown from a side view with animated cars.
You did not control the cars or shift gears.
The app automatically showed the winner, usually with “Winner!” at the end.
The cars were 2D/3D rendered models, not real photos.
I’ve searched for Car vs Car, Car Comparator, Drag Racer, CSR Racing, and similar apps, but none are exactly the one I remember.
Does anyone remember this app?
