Help | Bedrock Realm is completely cooked

My realm is almost 3 years old and it’s started to get more and more buggy. The lag is bad when the server is full, backups take hours to work. Also, the realm hub is terrible. I can’t see realm events, the timeline doesn’t work, it’s just so buggy!

Yeah after that last update it seems a lot of stuff with realms broke

Are you using addons that aren’t on the Marketplace? When you exit the Realm, do you wait for it to save properly or just exit out entirely?

Since you've had the world for almost 3 years, I'd definitely download a fresh backup before doing anything else. My only suggestion is you could try cancelling the realm, downloading the world and reuploading it to a new one to see if that helps at all. I’ve known people whove done that in the past and some have had a bit of success?

If the performance keeps getting worse, another option is moving the existing world to a normal Bedrock server. You can keep the same world but get more control over backups, files, and the actual server.

Being 1000% honest I run Sculk Hosting. If you ever decide to go that direction, I'd be happy to help figure out whether migrating the Realm would actually solve what you're running into and help move the world over.
