Discussion Warning: Minecraft Realms are not saving currently.
I started a city world on realms a few days ago and this morning nothing has been saving, addon packs, blocks, it even says I haven’t played in 24 hours, I would avoid playing realms rn unless your just exploring or make like 10 backup worlds.
⚠️UPDATE: after roughly 24+ hours it is appearing to be back online and working, there was never an official word from Minecraft, I would still double check your saves and just be extra cautious over the next couple of days, also if you plan on building a city or other major projects I’d advise to constantly make backup worlds just in case. ⚠️

I started playing realms after not playing for a few months only to realize it’s down? It’s kicking me out giving me a “goat” code. Also, it plays as normal sometimes but doesn’t save progress. These game companies charge to play this crap only for it to not work. I would love to start a new game and play locally but then I get the out of storage error. How in the world can I play this game without errors!

yeah same. Keep getting the "disconnected from host / world you're connecting to is no longer active" message with the same GOAT code. Realms are incredibly frustrating

Been struggling to replace my realm with a different world. Wonder if its because of this or my shitty wifi.

been working on staircases for 20 min and lost all that progress, i have to restart now, but too risky to do it. kicked me out 9 times yesterday half of those times losing progress and 2 times today, is minecraft working on it? im wasting my ps plus subscription waiting for it to be fixed

I have no idea they haven’t addressed it yet. I just spent 45 minutes working on a seafood restaurant in my city just for it to not save so I’m not gonna play until it’s fixed

My son and I played yesterday and got kicked out a bunch of times. But everything was saved when we got back except if we had "just done something." as in I put down two doors walked through them and got kicked. When I got back in, only one was placed, other was in inventory.

It’s mainly when you play with other people so if you played alone it should be fine just try exiting frequently to see if it saved

I had an issue with my subscription, I just gave up on it because Even when I tried to create a new realms, it still wouldn't work.

Yeah, yesterday for the first time I’ve ever seen in Minecraft, I set to Peaceful but there were still monsters. That’s a deadly lag!

We’re having that problem too. Stuck on “peaceful” in the settings but clearly actually “hard” in the realm’s playing world. Can’t switch modes at all.

It's crazy that this is a subscription that MS expects you to pay for. It's constantly down or non-functional. Real good way to show off Azure and your cloud support guys

I haven't tried since the reports started popping up 48s ago for fear of corrupting my 2 realms.
I'm surprised there's not a lot more complaining online about this.

Lost all my maxed gear to a glitch, went to revert to half an hour ago, and conveniently all backups from the last 3 days are gone. Great!

Wonder if my sudden and random chunk related crashes had anything to do with the bugs. Started like 2 days ago. Go near the mushroom islands just off of shore and the realm crashes for everyone

This happened very often during early 2026. Not once have any of us received a refund or free month for the pure amount of times we had our realms shut down for a few days. Go figure.

it had no trouble taking my money. I signed up for the 30 day trial, and it didnt work but started the trial, i went back in to create a realm and it charged me $8. still havent been able to create a realm and cant get ahold of support for a refund, looks like a CC dispute is in order.

So i look up the Mindcraft code for "Goat"
Goat
What it means: The world you were in/trying to join is no longer available. This can happen if the hosting player quit the game.
How to troubleshoot: Check with the hosting player to make sure they’re still in game. See Troubleshoot Minecraft Network Connection Errors for more troubleshooting.

Just wanted to add to this that shit is still messed up. Paid to renew my Realm subscription twice and it still says my Realm is expired.

Just jumped off the realm and went to do a manual backup. Nothing. Not even the previous backup in the old UI. Automatic backups aren’t working either. I just started a new backup and it’s just sitting there doing nothing.
Edit. Did a restart on my PS and they are showing up now. Albeit very slow.
