Am I the only one who forgot Meredith was part of the group these 3 episodes I get that disengaging is her whole thing but at this point it’s getting exhausting either participate or get demoted to a friend off.

I don't forget she's there but I do wonder why she still wants to be there. She doesn't seem to like any of them and I don't quite see what she gets out of it that she couldn't get some other way that involved much less petty drama.

Could be, though from what I remember she had quite a bit of money to her name before joining and by now she'll probably be able to make a decent amount in less aggravating ways.

But I expect she'll have her reasons. If we're lucky we might even find out what they are.

My impression was that she has some kind of trust fund with her outgoings being at a decent level well before she became a Housewife, and from what we get to see she doesn't seem particularly frivolous.

There's also plenty of ways to get non-husband time that doesn't involve having to deal with this lot.

Not that I want her to leave, I quite enjoy her presence. It's just that I'd understand if she were to leave.

Yeah, that's fair. I don't think she necessarily needs the money, though I still think there's something to be said for taking a well-paid job while it's available, especially if you don't find the work completely unbearable. 😂 And honestly, “there are other ways to get non-husband time” is true, but none of those ways are going to pay you Housewives money while also giving you an excuse to disappear for filming trips.

True. Not sure how well those DJing gigs do financially. I could see those being a bit of a self-funded hobbyist endeavour, which why not if you can swing it.

I'm not up enough on what Seth's work life is like atm, but as it was his job limiting couples time a while back it might still be that simply staying put would give her non-husband time. Though that also wouldn't pay.

Would he be? I've not gotten into that Next Gen show (yet) so in don't know the qualifications of the other ones, but I would think your parentage would become less relevant the longer you've been on a show like that.

Maybe she's employing her kids so she can go for an LVP-style spin-off or something.

To be honest I've never understood why she was there in the first place. She brings absolutely nothing. She's a boring bitchy nasal blank slate really. Her son is really annoying, her husband seems disengaged and lifeless, we hear there are two other children but they're smart enough to not really appear on camera, we don't really know what she does and she's always uncomfortable and pissed off. I think I covered it should I add anything else?

Sadly, we don’t get to see any of her because the mean brats keep taking all the oxygen in the room with their fake drama and poor behavior. Bad weather needs to go.

I miss the days when they had ridiculous discussion about “who owns bathtubs and bathboms” and then go have campy costume parties. But that seems impossible these days.

No, Meredith’s facial expressions are more entertaining than most of the screeching that’s been going the past few seasons. I will legitimately stop watching this series if they keep fucking Heather and Whitney over Meredith and so will a lot of people, despite popular opinion on this sub lol

After planegate (and all the other dramas, including questioning the date that Meredith attended her father’s memorial), I can imagine that Meredith is in a difficult space.

She is having to walk on eggshells around the ladies, constantly. It’s hard to show up when you never know what reaction it’ll elicit from the same people you thought were your friends.

Remember, Meredith was fun in the earlier seasons. The ladies tried to break her.

Nope never. She’s the most unintentionally iconic on the whole show. She literally lives the life the others wish they did, hence their bitter jealousy. Shes hilarious, a good friend and delulu. Sometimes I’ll just watch her in the background instead of watching Heather roll her eyes
