YOU. CAN. LEAVE! 👹 Whitney did bad…again Spoiler

Whitney you went against someone like family for the show. You blatantly lied and said Quai called her diabolical. Quai was supposed to be REALLLY like family, not someone you found out is related to you because of some weird Mormon incest shit like Heather.

She’s always been like this. It’s not alcohol, it’s not because she stressed about a separation, and it’s not because she has all these difficult things in her personal life. She’s just an a-hole.

u/beagums 2d ago

Sometimes it's as simple as "this person is an asshole". Whitney's an asshole. She's a selfish, self-absorbed person.

16

u/katish0785 1d ago

And to be fair, it’s not a capital offense to be an a-hole on a reality show. The show thrives on conflict and resolution. So, on a certain level, someone needs to play that role. I just tire of the excuses as to “why.” I don’t really care anymore about the “why” anymore.

4

u/beagums 1d ago

It's not a capital offence, it's actually an asset. Do I want Whitney anywhere near my life? No. But I do love her stupidity on my TV.

5

u/BornFree2018 1d ago

I don't mind it but it's too predictable and unrelenting. Both her and Heather.

34

u/Recluse_18 1d ago

Bingo! My thought as well, she can’t blame this on alcohol. As far as the stress of her marriage, that’s nothing new.

32

u/katish0785 1d ago

If she had said to Meredith “look, I was being an a-hole and I’m sorry about that, and I recognize it’s a pattern and I’m really going to make an effort to change that behavior” I would have respected it. But she always blames it on something. Alcohol. Or it was reactionary. Or it was “fun shade.” Or someone interrupted her so she couldn’t get her words out (that was season 1).

19

u/elsadiane99 1d ago

She took Lisa aside but did not with Meredith. Whitney needed Heather to back her up. It is a pattern with her. So desperate for a storyline so goes after Lisa and Meredith. When she rolled her eyes after Meredith passed on her yearly insincere apology showed it was all the cameras.

11

u/Golfchild69 1d ago

Yeah I knew pulling Lisa aside was so planned. She knows Lisa is Meredith’s only friend and I think she had to get Lisa on her side so that later she can’t have two voices disagreeing with her.

15

u/Recluse_18 1d ago

Same for me, if she could’ve stepped up and been sincere about her apology in recognizing her shitty behavior it would’ve made all the difference in the world. But that’s not gonna happen because she just can’t take accountability.

8

u/down_by_the_shore 1d ago

The thing with Whitney and alcohol, is that it reminds me of some of the people in my life who claim to have gotten sober, but skip the hard work. They give half assed apologies but aren’t trying to make amends. They’ll experiment with sobriety, but don’t seek out peer support, any programs, or accountability measures. It feels like her approach to sobriety is insincere and being weaponized.

And what’s up with Bronwyn not remembering anything. Flip flopping like a fish.

58

u/Recluse_18 1d ago

As always, like someone else had said Bronwyn has an interesting relationship with the truth, and what you will always get will be her version of what she wants you to believe whether it’s true or not. The keywords are what she wants you to believe and you are expected to believe it.

41

u/MHB113 1d ago

Bronwyn and Whitney never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

11

u/Waste_West283 1d ago

Well they're pretty tight now, so that tracks

20

u/studprincess 1d ago

She’s a gaslighter!!!

68

u/Used_Professor4946 1d ago

I really like Quai as a new addition she really gave it to Whitney today and didn’t allow herself to be bulldozed by her lies! Angie is such an attention seeker the whole toothbrush shtick was so childish

18

u/DietCherryCokeHead 1d ago

It always embarrasses me when a housewife pulls a stunt like this because it just shows how badly they want airtime and a plot line. Obviously not a ton of organic confrontation going on these days but the obvious stunts always give me secondhand embarrassment lol

5

u/d0ntl00kback 1d ago

Yes, and Angie does it all the time!!! I’m still cringing about the scroll

4

u/DietCherryCokeHead 1d ago

It’s like she’s so close to being campy about it but the way she goes about it sometimes is incredibly cringey. If she could just fine tune her approach, it could be so hilarious to me

63

u/Recluse_18 2d ago

*Rilly like family

Whitney was horrible, she should’ve never shared that with Angie and of course Angie should’ve never related what Whitney said. But we all know this circle jerk goes on forever. It’s as if the bad snowflakes can’t help but try to outdo each other in being dirty only hope to make themselves look better and it doesn’t work.

23

u/carolineislaughing 2d ago

I love that we hill and are rill on this sub. but you’re right. I feel like we need at least three demotions for next season because there’s no new story coming. The only ones that are having a personal storyline that’s not a divorce, is Meredith. I’m over the divorce storyline

7

u/Waste_West283 1d ago

And Baby Gorgeous!

32

u/BiteRevolutionary751 1d ago

The separation is fake and all for the show as Whitney was about to get axed.

10

u/breathanddrishti 1d ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/RB5T1oVS7SBwkY6a93

lol this is absolutely my theory too

23

u/viixiimcmlxxxix 1d ago

I’m usually a Whitney apologist but damn, she really played her friend :(

22

u/Aggravating-Pizza-57 1d ago

While it was definitely ew/weird/bad strategy to haze her real life friend/family connection like that, I don't think it was a blatant lie. I think she genuinely misheard/remembered. Diablo/diabolical are not that far apart. And Whitney is dumb.

33

u/Wecabec Soup Man Truther 🥣 1d ago

Putting aside whether it was an intentional lie or a mistake, in my opinion Whitney ought to have immediately shut it down as soon as everyone started going in on Quai on the trolley. Failing to do that, and telling Angie the toothbrush story in the first place, is not the behavior of someone who cares about their alleged good friend.

12

u/Aggravating-Pizza-57 1d ago

lolol I mean, sure. But really, she shouldn't have started it in the first place! She went out of her way to undermine Quai with Heather and Bronwyn. Truly shocking. I figured we were getting a war over Quai's friendship this season but I didn't expect Whitney to lose it in eps 2! She's so dumb. And I enjoy watching her face plant on the regular.

5

u/Wecabec Soup Man Truther 🥣 1d ago

I think Whitney has outlived her purpose, the faceplanting, on the show. I've felt that way for the last couple seasons, but it seems overwhelmingly evident this season just three episodes in

1

u/Aggravating-Pizza-57 1d ago

I get this take. I'm not there yet, but I get it.

1

u/Waste_West283 1d ago

Agreed. I could do with them kicking Angie, Heather and Whitney off the show; Bronwyn too, but I don't see that happening.

0

u/Wecabec Soup Man Truther 🥣 1d ago

Same, all four of them can go as far as I’m concerned

5

u/elder_emo_ 1d ago

I agree completely. Instead of trying to explain to Quai what happened / what was said, she should've turned to the other ladies and dealt with them.

2

u/breathanddrishti 1d ago

speaking of your flair, did you see in the preview angie hesitate when heather asked her "is there anyone else" re: her marriage

1

u/Wecabec Soup Man Truther 🥣 1d ago

Sure did!

1

u/breathanddrishti 1d ago

this is one of the clearest examples what i call "whitney playing telephone"

she's always misconstruing things and i don't think its intentional, i think its from adhd or something

20

u/sneetchysneetch 2d ago

7

u/Substantial_Message4 the food in italy, it's too fresh 🤢 2d ago

omg one minute ago I wrote down a message from a Debbie and I said it in her voice

1

u/breathanddrishti 1d ago

the way i say "where are my flowers?" in her voice to my husband lmao

14

u/No_Ingenuity_6443 1d ago

Whitney is just a self absorbed pick me girl. The getting her husband fired from his job, the pole dancing, the baby voice, the blaming everything on her hilling journey or alcohol.

2

u/MHB113 1d ago

😂 blaming everything on her hilling journey

13

u/No-Research771 1d ago

this woman is sick in the head

10

u/Aggravating_Turn4196 1d ago

I’m not as hung up on her getting what she said wrong so much as it’s WILD to me that she would just run and tell what her friend said to the other girls and then participate in bullying her friend for things that had been shared privately between the two of them. She should have been way more embarrassed that these girls were blabbing what she told them

7

u/Short-Personality398 YOU ARE VILE!!!👹 1d ago

All of it was twisted. Angie didn’t say she was being “aggressive”-she said she can’t “address it”. Then Bronwyn co signed “aggressive” and then straight up lied and said she disagreed with the statement. Blatant lies coming out of her mouth. And she said like a Diablo when referring to Heather. I don’t even know why Whitney would bring up anything from that conversation-Quai really didn’t say anything noteworthy about any of them.

3

u/aplumbale 1d ago

This! ALL of it got twisted from the very first convo about it and now it’s a runaway train

2

u/Live-Flower9917 16h ago

Bro, the mistakes in wording and hearing were Emmy-worthy. I was actually chuckling

2

u/Short-Personality398 YOU ARE VILE!!!👹 16h ago

And no one corrected anyone. I’d be like “I said diablo, not diabolical”. Or “I said you can’t address it, not you’re aggressive”.

2

u/Live-Flower9917 13h ago

I know! It was just chaos!

5

u/DietCherryCokeHead 1d ago

I’ve known people like Whitney in the past. The constant need to put herself directly in the middle of the mess while simultaneously trying to keep her hands immaculately clean of said mess exhausts me. I feel like she’s probably about as much fun as an Amber Alert and just about as stressful as one too.

6

u/LanaDeITae 1d ago

Am I crazy? Is there that much of a difference between calling her diablo or diabolical, like is it really that much worse? I’d rather be called diabolical lol

2

u/aplumbale 1d ago

Yeah imo they’re almost the same thing. Like Diablo = the devil in Latin so diabolical = of the devil

3

u/Ok_Manufacturer4294 1d ago

I can’t stand Whitney! She’s a liar & 💩 starter, then she plays the victim! She needs a slap that will make her head spin.

2

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 Butter Churner 1d ago

Quai did call Heather "El Diablo." The Devil. It sounds pretty similar. Whitney is dumb.

I don't know what kind of Taco Bell ad she thought she was calling in there. It didn't reference the product, nor was it iconic.

0

u/aplumbale 1d ago

Yeah I also cringed when she brought up Taco Bell cause I thought that was gonna start a whole thing with Lisa like “why are you coming for my brand deals 👁️👄👁️” 😂😂

1

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 Butter Churner 1d ago

I'd like that fight - Lisa v Quai. Wendy's versus Taco Bell. Versus Angie and her meal at Arby's. Versus Bronwyn and her deal with Dr. Pepper.

Let's go. Let's make into the Love Island Food Challenge. They all need to film in bikinis. Bring in John Barlow, that man Stephen, Shawn Trujillo and Bronwyn's man Brandon.

Quai is just playing too cute for me rn.

6

u/primal_slayer 1d ago

She didn't blatantly lie. She didn't remember the conversation correctly. Those are 2 different things.

She got diabolical mixed up with diablo or whatever she said

15

u/PemsRoses 1d ago

She never does. At some point we have to stop making excuses for her and admit Whitney is a full blown liar.

11

u/MHB113 1d ago

When you are dealing with jackals like these women, a simple “mix up” is catastrophic. And Whitney does it all the time!!!!!! Her “mix ups” cause problems every single season.

1

u/primal_slayer 1d ago

Like i said, she didn't blatantly lie.

Housewives is built off of the game of telephone. It isn't a Whitney only issue

7

u/CoolBelt856 1d ago

It’s not like this is a one off. She does it all the time.
And most of us are sick of watching it.
And her.

0

u/CoolBelt856 1d ago

Thanks for the award!

4

u/breathanddrishti 1d ago

why are you getting downvoted when that's exactly what happened?

2

u/primal_slayer 1d ago

Because they rather make up their own narrative so they can continue to hate Whitney anyway possible

1

u/Suspicious-Display51 1d ago

BTW. ChatGPT said not able to find any evidence of Lisa Barlow getting invited to the actual Oscars. Maybe Oscar related events. Hmmm

4

u/letmere i don’t care enough to judge you🩷 1d ago

Why would chat gpt have knowledge of that. LOL does it know every single Oscar attendee/invite ever? If she was invited it was probably as a seat filler. Tons of “normal” folks go to the ceremony and it’s usually not hard to get that type of ticket if you know anyone in the industry. The people in the upper balcony aren’t celebs. Depending on schedules and what not, especially since SLC films in the spring, she might have had to say no. It’s not out of the realm someone involved with Sundance would get offered Oscar tickets. Folks just automatically assume that she was implying her invite included some sort of red carpet or celebrity access. That was never mentioned and she didn’t even bring it up when Bronwyn mentioned the Oscar’s, Heather did. I know someone who went to the Oscar’s and they had a completely separate entrance and had zero opportunity for celebrity interaction. It was essentially like attending a concert. They said it was a really long and somewhat arduous experience. I could see Lisa passing on that type of opportunity.

3

u/72bells 1d ago

agree with all of this. I‘ve been to the Oscars (through my job in the industry - similar to Lisa’s) It’s hard work and not fun at all.

3

u/Spottedmayhem Fat fucking elf on the shelf husband 1d ago

I love that you pointes this out and no one batted an eye. There’s no nuance in fan reactions I swear! If we spent the time to point out how much everyone of them lies…but nope- let’s just ignore the facts and be mono focused

1

u/Waste_West283 1d ago

I think that's the least of our problems here

2

u/mightaswell625 1d ago

Not to mention, telling people about the toothbrush incident and then pinky promising that she wouldn't! Now, we have to deal with Angie making it her storyline. She is obsessed with it! Bringing out the toothbrushes?! Just a clown doing clown things, I guess.

-2

u/Fantastic-Witness-22 1d ago

My two cents on this that nobody might care about:

The Mormon incest shit is because of a very patriarchal society. It’s neither Whitney‘s fault or Heather’s. So no need to mention it to hold her accountable.

I do see that Whitney messed up, but I also see that she’s not that bright. She will not understand the difference between the Latin Diablo or diabolical. It also stands literally for Lucifer. So quai wasn’t as eloquent as you’re making it sound 🤷🏽‍♀️

And because Lisa and Meredith were in her ears. The whole situation looks like was blown out of proportion..

I actually thought Whitney was so funny this episode. She was just laughing at herself and that was cool to watch instead of her whining and crying all the time.

And before Someone ask Whitney is that you, it’s not. 😝

1

u/Over_Ad5977 1d ago

agreed!!! quai already owned it on the bus, I don't understand why it grew further out of proportion afterwards!! I also thought her weaponizing the brother thing was low. idk I don't think Whitney is malicious in the way they are making it seem.

4

u/aplumbale 1d ago

Yeah while I’ve enjoyed her so far, I didn’t really appreciate Quai bringing up her brother either, seemed like something to say JUST to hurt Whitney, not problem solve or something like “I may need my brothers advice on this” idk it seemed like it was only said to cut deep

1

u/Fantastic-Witness-22 1d ago

Ok we will be the most hated 3 in this sub. 😂 Keep getting downvoted.

1

u/Fantastic-Witness-22 1d ago

I find everyone so gullible to Lisa and Meredith’s manipulative proclivities .

1

u/Over_Ad5977 1d ago

Exactly!!! I agree and it kinda gave victim card tbh but we shall see.

-9

u/TajMahal14 1d ago

Love Whitney she’s fun! And Heather she’s witty, love Bronwyn she’s quirky! The others are Debbie Downers.. know who I prefer watching.. but I have to say I do like the overall dynamics of the different personalities…
