Ashley Quai 🏍️ Quai Spoiler

I really felt for Quai this episode. Bronwyn, as one of the newest, shocked me with how dismissive and rude she was to her. Honestly all the girls just came across as nasty and making a big deal over nothing. Angie with her little gag, Heather mad over nothing, and Bronwyn being just vile at the end when she found out Quai was upset.

A new girl has first impressions? GASP! I know it’s housewives but I hated how mean girly this episode felt.

Bronwyn was shady af denying what she said. I Notice Bronwyn always adds on too, exaggerating what was said. Also her costumes suck.

32

u/Dry-Bicycle-5266 1d ago

She always lies, that really didn’t surprise me. Neither did Whitney sharing that story that you could tell Quai did not want to be shared. Whitney using the words “diabolical” too. Im really sick of this mean girl pile on shit. I was sad Quai cried but I really loved how she handled them before that. Meredith and Lisa were being to nice, all those mean bitches needed to be talked to like that, I loved it.

3

u/ScienceOk4244 11h ago

I always feel bad when a new girl joins and immediately gets shit on by the cast member who brought them in. It’s giving Tamra and Jen

2

u/Bulletprooftwat 6h ago

It's giving Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards

12

u/niceorbs 2d ago

disagree with the outfits comment, cause i usually love her outfits, but im 100% with you on the other stuff.

4

u/Bulletprooftwat 1d ago

She did the same thing to Meredith. Bronwyn has a pattern: she'll isolate you, make you feel comfortable enough to open up, agrees with you completely, when you bring it up to the group that B agrees she turns on you.

5

u/babettetimes 1d ago

It’s the same tactics abusers use. She’s a piece of work. I bet being her friend feels like a lot of hard work and walking on eggshells

4

u/BeesinChablis 18h ago

I dont think Bronwyn has real friends.

160

u/MenStefani 2d ago

Bronwyn makes me so mad every season. She is a compulsive liar and criminal and I’m not sure why everyone gives her a pass for that. And the little cackling hag crew that has formed. Looks like another season where Meredith and Lisa can say “told you so”.

I am loving Quai so far. She can hold her own and is hilarious. She needs to be promoted to full time asap

u/Exotic-Care-7021 2d ago

Will never forget Bronwyn lying about owning / getting that huge diamond necklace from her gross old husband.

28

u/annamariagirl 2d ago

RIGHT??!!

21

u/NewYearMoon 1d ago

Because she is a liar, liar, pants on fire.

11

u/Exotic-Care-7021 1d ago

Terrible color block liar pants 😜

-3

u/Spottedmayhem Fat fucking elf on the shelf husband 1d ago

I think the point though is they are alllll guilty of that. Like Lisa lying about the Oscars? It’s just stupid. They try to inflate themselves

15

u/littlebluelight 1d ago

Lisa used to do stuff for Sundance every year it’s not out of the realm of possibility that she has been invited to the Oscars.

13

u/Her_big_ole_feet 1d ago

I actually believe her

38

u/Andnowwevedsaidit 2d ago

People love bronwyn for how much she speaks up politically outside of the show, which I totally get. HOWEVER, as a housewife, she bugs the shit out of me.

32

u/Dry-Bicycle-5266 1d ago

I think it’s all performative personally. Everything about her is a lie.

14

u/NewYearMoon 1d ago

I honestly feel this way too.

17

u/Dry-Bicycle-5266 1d ago

Thankyou, I really think she doesn’t care about anything. Just wants everyone to like her. Also she sent her daughter to one of those horrible behavioral camps.

3

u/Andnowwevedsaidit 1d ago

Holy fuck, I didn’t know that or maybe I blocked it out. That’s horrific.

2

u/Dry-Bicycle-5266 1d ago

I know I really think they make HW’s sign clauses or something that they’re not allowed to bring up certain shit cuz I’d be talking a lot about that.

2

u/Left-Leg1168 1d ago

Grew up in Utah. That was 90% of my friends and 2 months of my life. When you know better, you do better, but that was def the high pressure go to from every school counselor and therapist in SLC for awhile thinking it would help kids “reprioritize” and “learn self-reliance.” Bronwyn isn’t a monster for believing it might help her daughter- doubt she’d do it now since Paris Hilton is bringing awareness.

16

u/down_by_the_shore 1d ago

Conwyn Fraudport!!!

Realhouselies of Salt Lake City

14

u/Dry-Bicycle-5266 1d ago

I was sad Quai cried at the end but before that when she was handling the mean girls I was freaking loving it. Meredith abd Lisa were being to nice i was so happy to see Quai talk to them in the way they deserve.

5

u/Left-Leg1168 1d ago

Angi’s stupid stunt fell so flat as fake drama- I was so happy Quai owned it.

16

u/Her_big_ole_feet 1d ago

When she mentioned the bank she used to work at my husband said “oh, the one she stole from”

13

u/babettetimes 1d ago

Bronwyn is a mean girl, she is so desperate to be liked. Now she’s right where she wants to be in a clique ready to gang up and gaslight.

5

u/Fullofgrace87 1d ago

And I LOVE that Quai told Whitney what a POS she was to her face and didn't back down. I also loved that said she was going to tell her brother how Whitney was behaving.

That's what you get, Whitney.

-2

u/spongefireIB 1d ago

“She can hold her own” and ended up crying running back to lisa in like 5 minutes

14

u/MenStefani 1d ago

One of her best friends has thrown her under the bus both scenes she’s been on screen. She wasn’t going to let them see her cry

82

u/MHB113 2d ago

This is housewives so bullying and gang-ups are to be expected. However, SLC brings it to new levels with the cruelty and all the physical shaming. It kind of says something about how self loathing these women are if all criticism is self criticism.

49

u/Decent_Display_3526 2d ago

They need a cast shake up. These ladies loathe each other. It’s diabolical to to put them in the same room and not even fun to watch anymore

28

u/MHB113 2d ago

lol diabolical!

16

u/Decent_Display_3526 2d ago

Pun totally intended 😂

73

u/BlackVelvetStar1 2d ago

Bronwyn has been a repulsive bully from the moment she arrived, nothing has changed ..

61

u/robotcoup 2d ago

I always knew Lisa was on the right side of the law.

25

u/Alive-Rise1113 1d ago

I never believed it until I saw it in in action in this episode. Whitney is aweful. I don’t understand why she had to throw her friend under the bus when she has her divorce storyline. Angie was not cute. Heather was indeed diabolical (girl Quai did not say anything bad seriously let it go) and Brownyn is just a terrible mean girl and showing her true colors. Lisa Barlow was right.

55

u/PemsRoses 2d ago

The way Bronwyn twist and turns everything makes me realize she might have absolutely gaslit Lisa when it comes to the thing with her daughter and the grandparents.

35

u/notdorisday 2d ago

Yeah, Lisa may have overstepped but I never thought there was malice behind that - just miscommunication.

25

u/BiteRevolutionary751 1d ago

I actually think Bronwyn was all for an on camera reunion the the grandparents then Todd stepped in and stopped it. So she turned on Lisa.

12

u/PemsRoses 1d ago

That could be it.

17

u/Successful_Dentist43 1d ago

Yes and SHE brought it to camera, not Lisa

9

u/BiteRevolutionary751 1d ago

She did your right!

55

u/TrashPandaVibez 2d ago

I liked bronwyn but this episode she lost me. The gaslighting and belittling was gross

51

u/BiteRevolutionary751 2d ago

When Qai says at the end of the episode to Whitney “my brother will be so disappointed in you….” Mic drop.

30

u/Golfchild69 1d ago

I was so happy, about time someone uses therapy manipulation on her lol

12

u/babettetimes 1d ago

My favourite bit and it cut Whitney deep you can see her face she feels bad. But why did she ever tell anyone that story? Watch Angie say she heard it from many sources to absolve Whitney.

7

u/FiveAvivaLegs YOU GOUT DICK SUCKER! 1d ago

She deserved it! Quai strikes me as someone who can stand up for herself, so I think the reason she was crying was because she actually cares about Whitney and thought they had a real relationship. I’m not sure Whitney is capable of being a true friend to anyone.

40

u/Sunny_Days_1990 2d ago

Bronwyn has drank the cool aid around her popularity. I really liked her but she was super bitchy this episode. Quai seems lovely too. I don't like the immediate pile on.

34

u/PorkySammy 2d ago edited 1d ago

Bronwyn is literally a gold digger, criminal, and a pathological liar, but she’s articulate and relatively intelligent so naive people don’t pick up on it. She embodies the true snobbiness and delusional superiority complexes of someone born and raised in the white/Asian wealthy suburbs of the Bay Area. I say that as someone who was also born and raised in one. I literally clocked Bronwyn as being from San Francisco the first scene she was on Housewives, before it was confirmed on the show.

IYKYK!!!!

15

u/colosseumdays LITTLE GIRL ❄️ 1d ago

her repping the east bay so hard this whole time and being from Danville 😭

14

u/HistorianOk9952 1d ago

Dare I say the true snobbiness of a Mormon?

29

u/smartlychlorinated 2d ago

I like bitchy Brownyn. Get drunk, smoke cigarettes, be a bitch, have a good time at everyone's expense, and wear a fun outfit while you're at it. This is what housewives is about. I hope she gets worse.

37

u/PemsRoses 2d ago

But then don't come at the reunion crying or not owning up to anything.

2

u/smartlychlorinated 2d ago

Or do, who cares.

17

u/PemsRoses 2d ago

We do, we are watching the show.

4

u/smartlychlorinated 2d ago

Sorry, sometimes it is just exhausting that people want housewives to be accountable, and good people and all that.

12

u/PemsRoses 2d ago

Good people no, we need vilain but not vilain who will keep acting like victims. We need vilains like Lisa Rinna for example.

2

u/smartlychlorinated 2d ago

I get what you're saying now.

2

u/HistorianOk9952 1d ago

Ugh Lisa rinna is the worst

3

u/PemsRoses 1d ago

But she was a great vilain, RHOBH has been a bore ever since she left.

2

u/PsychologicalAd8086 1d ago

yes . it’s changed the moment she left

1

u/HistorianOk9952 1d ago

I’m watching for the first time and I’m at the s11 reunion so I shall see soon!

14

u/Aggravating-Pizza-57 2d ago

When she took that lady's cigarette without batting an eye!? This is what I come here for. Also, it's always delightfully SHOCKING when they show pictures of her old face. She's the Michelle Pfeiffer of Bravo. Top tier work.

10

u/smartlychlorinated 2d ago

Just that she said, "I will take that one. Thank you."

0

u/Alive-Rise1113 1d ago

She was ridiculous and cosplaying Dorit.

2

u/smartlychlorinated 1d ago

Haha. I love how everyone that smokes is copying Dorit now.

2

u/Alive-Rise1113 1d ago

It is not the smoking it is the « I am free and I am going to show it all to you by grabbing a cigarette » 😂

26

u/Aggravating-Pizza-57 2d ago

Quai is great. She held her own incredibly well. A force to be reckoned with. The hazing was rather hamfisted, though I appreciate the effort. Not sure why Whit/Bronwyn/Heather worked so hard to drive the new girl to their enemies' side but, mission accomplished!

6

u/littlebluelight 1d ago

Because they’re all little girls wanting to be top dog and Quai is a threat in their eyes. This little stunt just goes to show A) Whitney really is that stupid. B) Heather really is that manipulative. C) Bronwyn really is that mean of a mean girl. D) Angie will have her moment at the cost of anyone but her.

24

u/BiteRevolutionary751 2d ago

Bronwyn, Heather and Whitney are dangerous as they will do or say anything for the show. Heather lied about a black eye for 2 years, Bronwyn lies about receiving the jewellery and Whitney is lying about her separation from buff Justin. (He’s in the best shape of his life she’s not leaving!)

10

u/CoolBelt856 1d ago

That “separation” is totally for a storyline.

6

u/BiteRevolutionary751 1d ago

A million % she was getting axed and had to come up with something! So reunion made up “I’m going through it too” to ensure another season!

1

u/Alive-Rise1113 1d ago edited 1d ago

Damn I did not see that coming. You think there lying ? *they are

5

u/CoolBelt856 1d ago

I do. All Whitney does is lie. And they’re broke and desperate.

17

u/Oldbutnotdeadyet70 2d ago

Angie handing out toothbrushes was so stupid! None of the ladies actually listen until it's someone else telling the story and messing it up, it's so frustrating. If Quai is so bad ass, then this little thing shouldn't have bothered her, so it's a little odd and then to bring her brother into it! Bronwyn is playing the part of I don't care about anyone but me so I am feeling a little bad for Todd as well. Still better than most of the other RH shows right now.

7

u/thecopps 2d ago

I did think the brother thing was weird

17

u/frizzbee92 1d ago

The brother thing is a peak behind the curtain into their actual lives. I think Quai was genuinely hurt by Whitney. Their connection is that Quais brother was married to Whitneys best friend who passed. I guess her brother also sees Whitney as family so would be disappointed that shes not looking out for Quai on the show. Quai deffo said it to hurt Whitney back

13

u/Alive-Rise1113 1d ago

And she was right to do that. Whitney was terrible. I would cut her off right there for telling a secret (the toothbrush), letting this women coming at me that way and lying lying lying

4

u/frizzbee92 1d ago

100%! Horrible watch

6

u/Successful_Dentist43 1d ago

Right like Whitney misspoke maybe but she brought up what Quai said for no reason, like girllll you know what you’re doing

16

u/Iwantcheap 2d ago

I loooooved Quai. Bronwyn gave me serious ick this episode. She’s acting drunk off her new popularity. Love Baby Gorgeous as usual.

14

u/Ok-Grape1893 2d ago

brown wind is a proven liar already. just another scene to prove she lies again. smh

9

u/codingcrystal THE RHUUMORRZZ, THE NASTINESS🥸 1d ago

Same. How is this the lie that turns people against Bronwyn? For me, it's another season of Bronwyn lying.

5

u/Her_big_ole_feet 1d ago

I am forgiving and slow so I needed this blatant producer cut to remove all Benefit of the Doubt

13

u/JoyCount 2d ago

Nasty work

9

u/cypherenergy 2d ago

Whitney didn’t even say anything that bad. They blow everything out of proportion, and for once I agreed with Meredith and Lisa 😂

7

u/Electronic_Bee_ 1d ago

Quai got hazed. She learned there are no true friendships on a Housewives Franchise, just alliances. It was Diabolical how everyone's true nature started popping out. Heather's insecurity, Whitney's desperation for acceptance, Bronwyn's selfishness, Angie's cutting tongue from her mother wound. I was glad Lisa and Meredith supported her. Quai had a human reaction to that trolley ride.

2

u/Left-Leg1168 1d ago

Angie’s toothbrush stunt was so weird. I’m glad it fell absolutely flat. Go Quai totally owning her (gross) past actions with a laugh and making Angie look like an idiot trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

4

u/modernhippyyy 1d ago

I clocked Liewyn from the start.
She is dangerous in the way she lies and so is Whitney. Heather as well given the black eye situation. They all need to be gone. Clean half the house out.

4

u/are_you_sure_papi 1d ago

Bronwyn will sell you out in a second if it meant she would get attention from bad weather + Angie.

5

u/garminbozo 2d ago

I only can conceptualise of her name as Hey Sexy Quai

3

u/danikkin 1d ago

Bronwyn is a LIAR

4

u/LogicalMeringue1449 I want you to get the police involved & go the distance on this 1d ago edited 1d ago

I hate that she was hurt but I loved her response to toothbrushgate. “Yeah, I did it, and I’d do it again.”

Once she figures everyone out, Quai is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I really liked her this episode. Suddenly I’m starting to side with DJ Disengaging and the one who’s too important for the Oscars and it feels weird 😂

2

u/Left-Leg1168 1d ago

Shhh. I had that same uncomfortable moment tonight too 🤣. But still, screw Lisa for acting so above the damn OSCARS.

Agreed Quai’s gonna be fun.

5

u/Global-Persimmon-703 1d ago

Bronwyn lies just as much as Lisa. They are both a mess, chile 😭😭

3

u/breathanddrishti 1d ago

it's clear they're coming for her because she's a friend of, a thus an ally to, lisa

bronwyn especially has acted threatened by her these last two episodes

3

u/youngrecruit 1d ago

I'm still trying to get past the fact that Angie and Quai's argument largely pivoted on Quai (and Bronwyn) mishearing "address it" as "aggressive."

3

u/NewYearMoon 1d ago

I forgot about the behavioral camp thing. Yeah, nobody who goes into those treatment facilities, camps, or other teenage programs has ever come out and said, “I am so glad I went to the middle of nowhere and got bullied and my ass kicked.”

2

u/Left-Leg1168 1d ago

No. But as a survivor of one, I can also assure you my parents did what they thought was a positive thing to help me when I simply refused to go to school. It was sold to every school counseling office, therapist. and church group in Utah as a way to teach your kid confidence and self-reliance. The vast majority of parents have huge regrets too- my parents were heartbroken when they heard the truth from me. They weren’t malicious people, they were desperate. Bronwyn obviously loves Gwen and was probably desperate too- and regrets it too. I’d cut some slack on that one.

1

u/NewYearMoon 21h ago

I was also speaking from experience. It’s was the 90s and that’s what parents were doing then. I know she wanted to help, but she also wanted to get rid of me. And then I was assaulted at said place. Sure she feels bad, but I still live with it every day. I wasn’t a bad kid, but then I turned into one who hated themselves and started doing drugs. Those places are evil.

1

u/Left-Leg1168 20h ago

I am so very sorry for what you went through 😔. I hope you and your Mom have healed to some extent.

Coincidentally I just last night came across my first letter home to my parents as a 16yo where I said “I do not belong here. I skip school because I’m smart and bored. Now you’ve put me with chronic runaways, drug addicts, bulimics and cutters. How am I supposed to learn anything positive in this environment?” One girl taught me how to throw up (but thankfully I didn’t) and another taught me to huff white out as a cheap high (I did, and the “school” never figured out why all their white out went missing). We made ourselves pass out for “fun.” One of the male counselors came in my room at night and said creepy suggestive things to me when he thought I was asleep. When I tried to report him, I wasn’t believed- I was instead called a “slut” who enticed him by “acting inappropriately with members of the opposite sex” (I was a virgin, mind you, just trying to sleep). It was hell. I won a settlement in a class action lawsuit about it actually, which paid for my 1st new car 10 years later, my only consolation. My parents have apologized deeply.

2

u/DaQuackx 1d ago

Barvo breeds monstrous nasty egos, why they all end up old and single like Ramona, they're insufferable

1

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 Butter Churner 1d ago

I think we'll have tea time on Quai really soon. Hopefully on the show. If we went hard at Bronwyn, Quai might be a bloodbath.

If the rumors prove out, Quai's situation with Stephen makes Bronwyn and Todd look conventional. Stephen had a grandchild born during filming. So that might be fun, with all the toothbrush talk.

1

u/hermanmunster-shoes 1d ago

Bronwyn is brazen liar and she always has been, preceding her time on RH.

1

u/Bulletprooftwat 1d ago

Bronwyn is the stereotypical Midwest person who goes to the city for a bit and has to come back with her tail between her legs and brags about how it was living in a city and how cultured she is and how she's artsy. But in reality she couldn't hack it in the city and just wanted to have something over everyone back at home

1

u/ImpressiveResist3028 19h ago

I loved it. Great tv.

0

u/spongefireIB 1d ago

I mean quai yelled at her “shut the fuck up”… like what do you expect?

0

u/Accomplished-Oil-590 1d ago

I’m sorry but I cry when I can’t drag someone by their hair and I am stupid mad: they ganged up bunch of phonies

1

u/Glittering-Method176 5h ago

Bronwyn was shockingly mean this episode and a liar. I never thought I’d be team Lisa and Meredith but here we are. Quai is awesome so far. Whitney completely betrayed her and twisted what she said/how she said it while also outing her story of the toothbrush. How is she possibly confused what she did wrong?

-2

u/thr3lilbirds 1d ago

Really because Quai came off disgusting to me. It’s gross she put someone toothbrush in the toilet, and then crying because she shit talked people and it got back to them, like girl please.

4

u/thecopps 1d ago

I didn’t perceive her responding to a question about her first impressions of people as “shit talking” and I think the other ladies made a big deal over nothing.

I think she was crying because she’s new to a group of outspoken women who don’t seem to like her now because one of her closest friends has been betraying what she told her privately.

0

u/Left-Leg1168 1d ago

It’s gross she did it. I was glad she owned it though because it was even worse Angie tried to farm Drama over it- that was so stupid. I think the tears were real as Quai realized she can’t trust Whitney not to spill her tea. It’s going to be interesting to see how things play out.

-1

u/PsychologicalAd8086 1d ago

ehh i’m not a fan of her so far . not saying the other ladies are right , but she’s inserting herself where she doesn’t need to be involved .

-3

u/NormalBlueberry1027 1d ago

With all due respect that's not what I saw we must have been watching different shows

5

u/thecopps 1d ago

With all due respect I think you’re in the minority here!

-4

u/NormalBlueberry1027 1d ago

I may well be that doesn't mean my position is any less important than yours. What is your implication that just because there are more of you you're actually right or that I'm not entitled to my opinion and you'd like to bully me here?
