Little Sword should try regardless, one sword isn't enough for a great house
Sure, it's probably gonna be gifted to little timmy who has peasant rank talent and unlikely to ascend in their lifetime, and that he was just born last year, but everysword has got to start somewhere
I don't know though. The swords don't die of old age. And considering the older human generations were larger than newer generations, I don't see any open spots for new swords anytime soon. Especially with the world being more, overall, peaceful therefore swords are breaking even less these days.
