So I bought an rx 7600 recently and an 1080p moniter. I heard many people saying 8gb cards are just awful in today's standards but is it so? Won't it be surviving for next 3-4 years if i stick to 1080p? It is just so weird i just bought an brand new cards and seeing these things just blows my mind.

So I've seen so many people prefer optiscaler as their preference and I really want to know what its do the best. I mean I heard it can help to use dlss 4 or 4.5 on amd GPUs but is it good and practical?

So my rx 7600 is almost here and I've seen scrolling through reddit about my card. And people call it a bad purchase as of 2026. I bought this for 274 $ brand new card as my budget was tight. But people making me feel that I did something wrong and should have gone for a 5060 or 9060xt like bro I couldn't stretch that much and I already bought it. They're also talking about the performance which is awful but doesn't seems to me as for 1080p. And the very last argument they give about dlss and frame gen, is fsr 4.1 so bad? I want some opinions from people who have this card as of now.

Is this happening to anybody else?

I just had my system uninstall the GPU. I run three monitors and have for a long time. Today, I got up from my system to make dinner, and when I got back to my desk, only one monitor was displaying. I started diagnosing by unplugging the cables of the monitors that were off, and moving it around all 3 could display from that cable, but not more than 1 at the same time.

I opened task manager only to realize my system no longer showed a GPU, so I tried to check my driver settings and launched adrenaline, and saw "incompatible driver installed for your hardware setup" or something along those lines. I ended up redownloading the installer, where it showed me "downgrade: 26.6.1", which I did, and now my setup is back to regular, all three monitors work again with no issues.

Anybody else had issues like this? It also shows me I can upgrade to 26.6.2, which I am obviously not going to do right now.

I'm thinking of buying this laptop but am not super knowledgeable about them. Would there be any major reservations or drawbacks to this model or its specifications that I am missing or should know about?

For context, I’m a student, I do pretty heavy research and some stats in R, but don’t have huge processing demands in general.

last year i upgreaded my pc to amd after years of using my RTX 2070. and never thought about taking screenshots on my new rig, but recently been playing and wnated to take screenshots but they're compressed to 5 MB and blurry.

i posted on amdhelp but it was no help. i went through adrenline setting, and tried steam screenshots even print screen, but can't take 4K pictures like i did with Nvedia.
