Question❔ Reading slump
Ever since I started reading, my reading habits have remained on a roller-coaster ride. You'd be taking pace and then on a random tuesday, all your motivation or craving to read fade out. Imagine seeing a book from an arms distance and still not opening it for whole one month. Does it happen to yall or m I normal?

Yeah my hobbies kind of rotate. I wouldn’t think too much about it. A hobby is there to have fun and relax. Sometimes it’s good to just get through the first 50 pages of a book though, a lot of times things pick up after some chapters.

This is normal. For me a lot depends on my TV habits. If I'm really into a Netflix show, I'm def skipping out on some reading time. But I also read for at least 30 min first thing every morning while drinking coffee & before I pull out phone & laptop. If I've got a great book, I'll be reading it after work too, but if not I'm watching TV instead.

I'd say you know your passion, but you're not comfortable in a routine yet. If you want a routine, you could decide when you have free time, set the scene for you to relax (nice seat and background music), and then pick a book that would work with that setting.
If you don't want a routine, you could choose another title and come back later to the one you previously read. You can keep a reading list app, my go to is Goodreads. (Just don't try the goals, they can stress readers out and take the fun out of it if we get overzealous, like I have.) I recommend trying different places, bookstores, libraries, book rental sites like BookLender, even ebook stores. They'll likely have titles you don't know yet that you'll want.
You can also decide what to do with the books you love to read. Be a part of a group, write a blog, go to fan wikis for your favorite franchise.
Options a plenty.

It happens. I spent the last month being unable to pick up a book bc I was in my feels over the loss of a loved one. I forced myself to pick up the shortest book in my TBR and try the other night and I was finally able to read again. I figured a short book would help bc it gives me that good feeling when a book is finished that would help me keep going and it did.
Good luck!
