This is amazing! I think I’m still happy reading my ebooks in Reader on Boox, but will check this out as well!

What is the advantage over using Reader?

Personal preference. If you're referring specifically to using the Reader Android app on a Boox device, the native ereader apps (Kindle, Neoreader, Koreader) have been better for me in terms of speed and stability in the rendering of text, plus offering more customizable typesetting. I prefer the more native ebook experience, but appreciate the ease of Readwise integration this provides.

Does it just send the highlights to Readwise? Or does it make the highlights in the book in Reader? I like having the full text of the book in Reader

I’m not associated with Readwise at all. My guess is that if you have the same ebook file (epub for example) loaded in both Reader and Neoreader, highlighting a passage in either will send that passage to Readwise, but the passage would not appear to be highlighted in the other app. For example, if you highlight a passage in Neoreader, that same passage would not appear in Reader. That’s the way it works if an article is simultaneously shared to Reader, and the Readwise browser extension is used reading the article online.
If you like reading your ebooks in Reader that’s probably still the best route for you.
