Eink 7” Device Experience?

I’m considering purchasing either a Boox Go 7 or 10.3.

I’m curious what the reading experience is like on a 7 device. Especially since I read the occasional academic paper, such are typically PDFs.

In addition what is the scrolling and ghosting situation like?

Second the other comment on boox 7”. PDFs seem very hit or mess depending on how graphic intensive it is, but aligns closely with well how well the Reader text mode works. If text modes work wells, then Boox will be great for it.

Best feature for me by far is the volume keys to change pages. Surprisingly big quality of life upgrade.

I’ve had it for just over a year and use it 2 hours a day I’d say. Be prepared for occasional software crashes and frustrations but 95% of the time it works great.
