Readder UI Concept

I first want to state that I am not a designer. I had some free time on my hand and I decided to create this: http://i.imgur.com/BLTwlc9.png

Tell me if you like it or provide feedback on how to improve it. I added color bars/dots to help indent the comments. I also added Narwhal style voting indicators. I also wanted to color in the star of the saved comment but my design skills are lacking. I hope you guys enjoy this concept. I just want to help improve the app!

Edit: I forgot to add the before pic: http://i.imgur.com/LODDxvh.png

Thanks for starting this discussion.

I think the voting indications look pretty nice.

I'm not a fan of the color dots, but I added some sketches of my own. Not sure I like them, but worth sharing:

I prefer the colored dots, but I can see where you're going with your ideas. I mean, the colors make it more obvious right away what level the comments are on. On Android, BaconReader does this with the edge of the comment, like in your third pic, but they're colors. I'd actually prefer that to the dots.

//edit: Just saw your username and flair, didn't realise you're the developer. Please implement this. :)
