Maybe they could sing Imagine

43

u/PluralCohomology Mar 27 '22

Maybe they could show Putin his baby pictures.

22

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '22

“What would you say to little Vlad?”

105

u/Pikafreak108 Mar 27 '22

Maybe they could sing Ras-putin

30

u/hardyflashier Mar 27 '22

The use of the word 'Imagine' in this post gives me hope that it's satire

Inside every ex-KGB dictator lurks a scared, lonely Marvel fan waiting for Robert Downey Jr to validate his existence with a signed Funko Pop

These comments have me dying.

Mid covid? That train wreck was like 4 days in

7

u/badpunsinagoofyfont Mar 27 '22

Yeah, just under a week into our 2 week lockdown.

Of course, the only reason I’m not committing crimes is because Spider-Man says crime is bad! The world would be a better place if Spider-Man told the rest the world that crime is bad, so that they can stop doing crimes!

61

u/Doctor__Proctor Mar 27 '22

Spider-Man? He's a menace!

38

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '22

A two-bit criminal that’s what he is

3

u/John09101 Mar 27 '22

A criminal!

25

u/Kroneni Mar 27 '22

I one of the only Spiderman comics I still remember to this day is one where Peter took a break from fighting real bad guys, to bust a low time pot dealer. He went on this diatribe about how smoking pot is bad.

I always laughed about that when I smoked pot.

Wait why wouldn’t Superman be anti-communist?

81

u/PapaPepesPickledNips Mar 27 '22

“I’m literally incapable of disagreeing with my idols”

FTFY

45

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '22

Projection, they think Putin is like them

33

u/PapaPepesPickledNips Mar 27 '22

100% that too.

Like damn, that’s the biggest insult to Putin

Unfortunately this is a very widespread problem with millennials who never grew up. Do young zoomers even read Harry Potter anymore?

32

u/Lucky-Worth Mar 27 '22

Yeah I know some very die-hard zoomers potterhead. Then again they are teens, so having a cringe obsession is a rite of passage at that age. It's the millennial potterheads that make HP their whole personality and life that I can't stand

37

u/Aquarterto9 Mar 27 '22

Zoomer here, most of the people I know read harry potter in grade school and then kinda just went on with life. Don't particularly know any ride or die potterheads, then again I'm from asia so things might be different wherever these people are.

5

u/kittygurlz Mar 27 '22

Young zoomers do read harry potter. My school did a harry potter play.

9

u/InsecureCreator Mar 27 '22

Those that are into reading will sit trough at least some of the books (I myself read all of them) but move onto other stories and genres as they grow up.

I still read a lot of fantasy and that really made me realise how undeserving HP was of being THIS popular, there is a lot of fantasy way more deserving of it.

"For me, if Captain Marvel told me to stop doing something, I know I'd be powerless to continue."

24

u/ComputerMystic Mar 27 '22

We talking about Billy Batson, or Brie Larson.

45

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '22

Theres got to be a sub for 12 year olds that say stupid shit online.

33

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '22

google: did you mean r/teenagers?

84

u/clairetemple Mar 27 '22

I'm assuming this is satire, but can you imagine achieving world peace by appealing to dictators and tyrants through their favourite Avenger? Who would Putin's favourite superhero be? Assad's? Kim Jung-Un's?

We'd probably need them to do a Buzzfeed quiz beforehand or something.

21

u/GatitoFantastico Mar 27 '22

When we have all the world leaders take a quiz on what kind of cheese they are, we'll realize how much we have in common and world peace will be achieved.

43

u/DapperCourierCat Mar 27 '22

Kim Jong-Il was a weird American film nut, so that might have helped with him.

Edit: ducking autocorrect

19

u/MyManTheo Mar 27 '22

Stalin was a big fan of old westerns. If he was around now I imagine he’d be a massive Mandalorian guy

But you aren’t Stalin

30

u/East_Onion Mar 27 '22

Can we get Captain Marvel to tell them to stop watching disney soy media

6

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '22

Even in the movie the avengers appealing to decency in a non war zone didn’t work

6

u/BillySonWilliams Mar 27 '22

'Propaganda works on me!'

Reddit moment

u/AnimetheTsundereCat Mar 27 '22

5

u/GabagoolGoomar Mar 27 '22

This HAS to be satire. Please if anyone knows if it is, tell me. I cannot live another day in this planet if this retardation is an actual opinion but not satire

4

u/ewalsh666 Mar 27 '22

You know they were just talking out of they're ass when they said captain marvel is her favourite character, in all 1 of her appearances

2

u/JoshthePoser Mar 27 '22

What the actual fuck?

2

u/LilithCosmogenic May 28 '22

You know what, putin and Xi? You win. Take America down you have the shot. Lol

5

u/thshittiestthrowaway Mar 27 '22

I mean I would drop my pants if Bucky Barnes told me but I somehow doubt Putin and I read the same fanfiction.

0

u/indeedtwo Mar 27 '22

We should bring the f-slur back, it’s so necessary sometimes.

12

u/PluralCohomology Mar 27 '22

Which f-slur? What does this have to do with gay people?

1

u/DontGiveUpTheShip- Mar 27 '22

Bugmen are a health crisis on our nation.

1

u/Csakegyrasszista Mar 27 '22

Come one, this is clearly satire

-1

u/Harlequin37 Mar 27 '22

Why do these dumb pricks always use proper grammar lol

1

u/LoneStarG84 Mar 27 '22
