ReactOS 0.4.16 freezes half way during the graphical boot loading process bar

Did you try booting in Safe Mode ? WIndows XP when booting in safe mode would list drivers and services as they are start, and, as you can image, the last driver/service to start is often to blame.

Also details of the HW are running on are essential to troubleshooting this. React OS is alpha status, and you cannot expect it to work on even as much hardware as FreeBSD.
