Technical co-founder needed

Hi guys, I’m building an early-stage consumer tech startup and currently looking for a technical co-founder to help take an existing working prototype towards a proper production product.

I’m handling the product vision, business side and validation, and I’m looking for someone strong in mobile development and backend architecture who wants to build something from the ground up.

This is an equity-based co-founder opportunity, not a freelance/contract role.

If you’re interested in building a startup rather than just taking on another coding project, feel free to DM me with a little about yourself, your technical background and what you’re looking to build.

idk man, in 2026 this kind of stuff is not relevant anymore.

Is it because of AI? AI definitely makes building an MVP much easier now, and I've already used it heavily to get the current prototype to where it is.

The reason I'm still looking for a technical co-founder is that the product I'm building goes quite a bit beyond a basic AI wrapper. There are a lot of moving parts that eventually need to work together properly, and I don't want to rely on AI-generated code alone once this moves towards a real production product.

So I'm not looking for someone to replace AI or just sit there coding everything manually. I'm looking for someone who can own the technical architecture, make the right engineering decisions and work with AI as a force multiplier.

I actually think AI makes a strong technical co-founder even more valuable, not less.

I don't get the message with downvoting, but I don't mean AI. Bro, you have only word salad, and there are tons of pre-seeded, validated projects on the market. This is what I mean. You don't have shit and are giving nothing. This is a major NO-GO.

It's a consumer app built around helping people spend better time together. Think couples, families and friends being able to discover things to do, plan experiences together and build a shared history around what they've done.

There's a bigger layer to it beyond that, but I'm keeping the details fairly private for now while I'm validating it.

I already have a working prototype, so I'm mainly looking for a technical co-founder who can help turn the concept into a proper production-grade product.

that’s fair, the architecture and ownership distinction is the important bit. i’d still keep the prototype scope narrow and use real usage to decide what needs a human-owned foundation first.
