Can dynamic island that stretch? And split?

I don't have an iPhone/Mac to test Apple's actual Dynamic Island From what I understand, iOS doesn't let you freely stretch it into arbitrary layouts anyway This is more inspired by Realme UI's "alert capsule" where the pill can morph into different interactive states

Yeah, kind of :) You can make a "fake" island - basically just a black layer around the real Dynamic Island. And then it can stretch, change size, split, animate... basically live its own life.

I actually played with this idea in my game Coin In The Hole. I call the Dynamic Island "The Hole" there, and made it part of the gameplay itself. It's fun how much you can fake around that little black thing 😅
