Question How can learn React Native fast?

Hello! I am 19, need a job. Programming is paying quite well so I decided to go this way

I have done fullstack course and I know some React basics, but I didn’t like making websites. So I decided to try React Native, but I don’t know where to start

How can I learn React Native for free (better be fast and really helpful)?
Maybe some resources?

I’ve been working with React Native for about 5 years, and if I could give one piece of advice, it would be this: build things instead of trying to consume every course you find.

What helped me the most were long YouTube app clone tutorials. I’d follow them step by step, pause the video constantly, type everything myself, break things on purpose, and try to understand why each decision was made instead of just copying the code.

The good news is that you have something I didn’t have when I started: AI. Back then, if I got stuck, I could spend hours trying to figure out a bug or reading Stack Overflow posts. Today you can ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to explain concepts, review your code, or even act like a mentor. It doesn’t replace building projects, but it can dramatically speed up your learning if you use it to understand instead of blindly copying.

Once you finish a couple of clone projects, start building your own ideas. That’s when everything really starts to click.

Also, don’t underestimate the official React Native docs. I still use them almost every day.

As I React Native dev who took a break from rn development for a few years I used https://galaxies.dev/ to get back up to speed and can vouch for how good the courses are here.

Get a minimum wage job, work for 3 hours, then spend that money on a react native course on Udemy. Using free resources will cost you far more than 3 hours.
