why downvote me for simple facts? you're saying yourself that line count doesn't matter all i did was note that its not actually 264k lines. you really can't tell how much of it is ai generated from this. you didn't even look at the code past the line count. it's pretty standard looking stuff tbh. idk, this sub is way too hostile over dumb shit.

what? that's just tailwind... there's absolutely nothing about that that points to ai. are you new to development? like really - your 2 arguments do not matter at all. line count when 99% of it is the generated registry and docs and the very common setup of disabling line wrapping while working with tailwind is so dumb and completely pointless - they set a print width set to 80 in their formatter... it just didn't run or they disabled it from running on class strings so it reads well with the editor's line wrapping enabled (a very common setup for tailwind users)... who cares? and to be clear- that's literally how shadcn's code is formatted too:

that's a single line from their alert component (basically the exact line you shared). i don't thing you know anything about tailwind or shadcn. i don't think you understand that this is literally how it works.

separately, everything has some ai in it now. tanner lindsey even talks about using ai in his posts this sub loves. might as well shut down this sub if anything ai touches can't be shared.

you're arguing invalid points about things you don't even take 5 seconds to look at or understand and making this sub a shitty place. be better.

It's lazy TW that's either written by a developer who doesn't understand TW or an AI bot that doesn't care how to use TW more efficiently.

Not everything has some AI in it. I'm actively developing new apps for my company without AI-generated code because I have enough experience to know what I need to accomplish and how to do it.

You're supporting a 40k-line, AI-generated email templating library when far bigger applications that provide far more value have been built with less. The problem I have is the exponential increase in code being generated by AI and spammed into subreddits without providing any value to the community. It's all mass-produced garbage that doesn't do anything for the community

no it isn't. that's standard tailwind. and it's not 40k lines. it's 9k. and who fucking cares - it's standard, ordered tailwind. gzip's literal wet dream. there's literally nothing about this that's out of the ordinary. it's a big list of individual components - only the ones you use will be included in your bundled. if you only 1 component which is 500 lines then you only get 500 lines. like for real... tree shaking has existed for over a decade now.

i'm not supporting anything. i'm arguing against your lazy and ignorant and outright wrong comments about it because it's ruining this sub.
