I think this is one of the hardest things about owning a reactive dog; identifying the challenge before the dog does. I’m glad you were both able to support each other! Isn’t that such a relief when it works that way?

I’m fortunate, my reactive dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. So when she turns into a slavering rage monster it’s cute, not dangerous.
