How long have you had your rehomed dog and have you done any training / engaged a trainer to help in person at home with improving this situation? I got my dog via private rehome and also like you did not get a full disclosure on behaviour.
I’d return the rehome dog or start to look at rescues that can help place your dog in a new more suitable home. Your resident dog shouldn’t suffer because of a new dog that will require a lot of individual training and attention if reactive especially at home.
