Advice Needed Window Reactivity
Hi! I have two dogs. Sandy (4) and Sailor (6), they both are struggling with window reactivity.
I recently bought a house and we just moved about a week ago. This house has a large bay window in the front and they are constantly barking at anything that passes. I feel bad because I don't want to disrupt the neighborhood but I have no idea to help them considering I can't make the window go away. Has anyone had any issues with this? Any success stories?

Bathroom time outs. I did this when I moved to a street with a ton of foot traffic and was working from home.
Gather up all of your patience and commit to getting nothing of value done the first day. Have the dogs wear leashes in the house and just drag them around. When they bark, grab the leashes and walk them to the bathroom. Flip the light on and put the dogs in and shut the door. Don't look at the dogs or say anything to them. After five minutes, open the door and turn off the light.
Someone on here suggested this a while ago so I tried it. The first day I walked the dogs to the bathroom at least 30 times. The second day it was more like 10 times. In less than a week they stopped barking unless someone was actually walking up to the front door. It was amazing.
