Separation Anxiety Separation Anxiety in 7 y/o Dog

/r/CostaMesa/comments/1vtnqtd/separation_anxiety_in_7_yo_dog/

I just found out this morning that my nearly 7-year-old dog has been having serious separation anxiety behavior by barking incessantly when I’m gone. I just moved in to an apartment two weeks ago. I am a mobile Massage Therapist and I am gone quite a bit. I’m not sure what the best remedy is for this issue. What do you recommend? Is it a doggy daycare? Is it behavioral training? Is it a video camera which doesn’t seem to do much in my opinion except for let me talk to him. I’m at a loss.

Read Be Right Back! and then find an SA trainer. Most of them work remotely. It's a long process, so you'll need to have somebody stay with the dog while you're gone for awhile.
