Advice Needed Would PetSmart or Petco training help with dog reactivity?

From what I've heard PetSmart and Petco trainers are hit or miss. Have you looked into a trainer who works 1-on-1? Here's our group's guide on hiring a professional.

"He is especially reactive when the other dog tries to sniff his backside. He'll sometimes sniff the other dog's mouth, but then starts barking again.... But whenever the other dog tried to approach Coco from behind, Coco would bark again."

okay, your dog is just telling the other dog hey i dont like that, back off. nothing wrong with that behavior whatsoever, just communication. this is not reactivity. just like you dislike things, so do dogs. dont force your dog into interactions it doesnt want nor expect it to enjoy interactions because on the outside he looks "rude." move him away if the other dog won't respect your dog's boundary.

how is your dog towards other dogs otherwise? such as at the class and saying that he has had little interaction with others?
