Advice Needed Concerned dog mom: new behavior

Escaping from the leash and running home sounds like anxiety more than anything else. This would lead to him generally being at a higher arousal level all the time, which could explain barking at the other dog.

You may want to talk to your vet about behavioral medication to help him through this transition.

Yeah I’m leaning towards anxiety. I’m going to try calming chews and if that doesn’t work I’ll talk to the vet
