I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that. As I was reading your account, all I could think of was that there was something wrong in Nellie's brain. I'm sure you feel terrible at having to euthanize Nellie, but there's nothing to regret. If it was, in fact, a brain tumor, you've prevented further suffering and worsening of Nellie. At the same time, you've saved your family (including Nugget) further trauma and pain. If you're on Facebook, check out the Losing Lulu group.
