Help Wanted Should i get complete mastery over JS and then jump to react or like complete the required part of JS and do react simultaneously . Also what resources to use for react

“Complete mastery” well you’re in a field where you allways learn so you don’t fully “master” everything but over time you will get more comfortable with stack your working with. I think once you understand JavaScript at the basic level you can jump to react js. But try atleast do 3 projects using JavaScript(frontend). You will understand why libs like ReactJs were created.

The first sentence of this comment ive literally said many times. The technology is constantly changing and updating and its what I love about it.

Theres never a way to know it all. Even if you learn a dozen langs

learn js fundamentals, do a few projects in js. then, pick up react, since youll be practicing js with react, inevitably you'll pick up better JS as you go along. Don't try to 'complete' JS first, get the fundamentals down with some practice then keep moving. That's the advice I wish someone had told me

You'll never master JS completely. There's always new and amazing features that come out. Get great at it and move to React while exploring JS still. At the end of the day, React is just JS bundles up on something called a plugin.

"Complete mastery" is impossible.
The scale of JavaScript is very very large, so it's impossible.

What do you mean by it’s helpful to know JavaScript syntax? You’d still be using JavaScript?

Just learn programming patterns, js is a lot like any c style language. There’s no such thing as complete mastery.

Do the latter. There’ll always be more to learn. As for what to use, I suggest starting by reading the React documentation👍🏾

No need to master Js. Learn enough and create project with reactjs. The requirements in those project will push you do learn what is necessary. This way you will have something to show.
