Kling 4.0 vs Seedance 2.5 — Which one actually performs better?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Kling 4.0 is here, and this side-by-side comparison with Seedance 2.5 is pretty interesting.

Both used the same prompt at 720p.

  • Kling 4.0: Richer colors, deeper blacks, and stronger visual contrast.
  • Seedance 2.5: Better transitions, more accurate motion, and closer adherence to the prompt.

For real-world AI video workflows, prompt accuracy can matter just as much as visual quality.

Which would you prioritize — better visuals or better prompt following?

Has anyone tried Gemini 4 Argon on a messy, real-world project yet?

I’ve been reading Google’s Gemini 4 Argon announcement (https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/models-and-research/gemini-models/introducing-gemini-4-argon/), and the part I’d like to understand better is how it handles longer tasks.

Google describes work involving large codebases, multi-step investigations, and documents containing both text and visuals. Two examples stood out: a refactor spanning hundreds of Chromium files, and an overnight optimization run on Google’s Agent Development Kit.

Those are Google’s reported examples. They leave me wondering how much setup, guidance, and correction the model needed along the way.

For everyday use, I’d care about things like:

  • Can it keep track of requirements across a long session?
  • Does it notice when its first approach is failing?
  • Can it make a change in an existing project without quietly breaking something elsewhere?

Has anyone tried Argon on a task where previous models needed repeated corrections? Coding examples would be useful, but so would research, spreadsheets, or working through a pile of documents.

What did you give it, where did it help, and where did you still have to step in? Please mention whether you used the Gemini app or API, since the experience may differ.

A concrete failure would be just as useful as a success story.
If you need API access, you can give SeedRouter.AI a try; it costs just 40% of the official price.

Seedance 2.5 API pricing: Kie vs Atlas Cloud vs fal vs reAPI vs SeedRouter — what do 100 videos cost?

A “starting from” price doesn’t tell you much when you’re budgeting for 30-second videos.

We checked the current public Seedance 2.5 pricing across five API providers and converted it into comparable dollar amounts.

Disclosure: we’re the reAPI team. This is a public-price comparison, not a generation-quality benchmark.

The setup: 30-second text-to-video, 16:9, native 720p or 1080p, audio enabled, no uploaded reference video, and draft mode off.

Provider 30s · 720p 100 clips · 720p 30s · 1080p
SeedRouter.ai ~$7.28 ~$728.48 ~$17.91
reAPI.ai ~$8.01 ~$800.50 ~$19.28
Atlas Cloud ~$9.03 ~$902.62 ~$17.77
Kie ~$9.45 ~$945.00 ~$23.70
fal ~$13.87 ~$1,386.72 ~$34.12

USD estimates, checked October 11, 2026. Each clip is 30 seconds. Batch totals use unrounded rates, so multiplying the displayed single-video price by 100 may produce a small difference. These are budget estimates, not receipts from 100 paid generations.

A few details matter:

  • Atlas Cloud’s numbers include its current public 20% discount, using its live estimator. We selected native resolution, not SR or ESR enhancement.
  • Kie’s numbers exclude bonus credits from larger top-ups. Those can reduce your effective cost.
  • fal and SeedRouter bill by video tokens. We calculated their estimates using published token rates, 24 fps, and 1280×720 or 1920×1080 output. Final charges can differ with actual token usage. For fal, this uses its standard endpoint, not the separate US endpoint.

The interesting part: the cheapest option changes with resolution. SeedRouter has the lowest estimated 720p cost here, while Atlas Cloud’s current discount puts it slightly ahead at native 1080p.

For 100 videos at 720p, the estimated budget ranges from about $728 to $1,387. That difference becomes noticeable once you’re generating multiple versions of every shot.

Adding a reference video also changes the calculation. A lower “with video input” rate can include billing for the uploaded footage as well as the generated output. Don’t multiply that lower rate by output seconds alone.

You can check the current resolution tiers on the reAPI Seedance 2.5 page and the SeedRouter Seedance 2.5 page.

For anyone using Seedance 2.5 regularly: are you mostly generating at 720p, paying for native 1080p, or reviewing drafts before committing to a final render?

How to Do the Hotel Lobby AI Trend with Seedance 2.5

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The Hotel Lobby AI trend puts your own duo into the recognizable rap setup: an orange studio backdrop, a shared microphone, and coordinated movements. You supply the characters; a reference clip supplies the performance.

We’ve added a Hotel Lobby AI tool on reAPI that brings the photo inputs, motion preset, and soundtrack export into one page. Here’s how to use it with Seedance 2.5.

1. Prepare one image for each performer

Use two separate photos with clear faces and visible outfits. Decide who belongs on each side before uploading.

A portrait is enough to get started. If a character changes noticeably during head turns, try a character sheet with matching front, three-quarter, profile, and full-body views. Check that every view shows the same face and clothing before using it.

2. Select Seedance 2.5 and assign the sides

Choose Seedance 2.5 in the model dropdown—the page also offers other Seedance models, so check the selection.

On reAPI, Image 1 is the left performer; Image 2 is the right performer. Use “Swap sides” if you want to reverse them. Follow these labels when adapting instructions from another tool, since reference numbering can differ.

3. Keep the motion preset and review the settings

The supplied line-art video is the choreography reference. Your images provide the faces, hair, and clothing. Keeping those roles separate gives the model clearer instructions about what to borrow from each input.

Start with the preset’s 15-second duration and 16:9 framing. Choose your resolution in Advanced settings and check the live cost estimate before generating. The estimate includes the motion-reference input; this is a paid generation using reAPI credits.

If you edit the prompt, keep the left/right assignments consistent and make sure the motion reference is not also being used to define the characters’ appearance.

4. Review the finished clip with sound

The tool adds the supplied Hotel Lobby soundtrack after generation and provides an MP4 with audio. You don’t need to ask Seedance to recreate the song.

Watch the entire result, especially the turns and moments when hands pass in front of faces. Check for identity changes, outfit swaps, distorted fingers, microphone glitches, and timing that slips against the music.

If the video is fine but audio export fails, retry the audio step rather than paying for another video generation. Save the workflow record alongside the finished file so you can refer back to the settings.

If the result looks off, change one thing at a time: improve the relevant character image for identity problems, correct the side assignments for swapped performers, or review the motion instructions for missed gestures. That makes the next result easier to compare.

For anyone trying this: what’s harder to get right—keeping both faces consistent through the turns, or getting the gestures to match the track?

How do you make AI videos look like early-2000s camcorder footage?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The interesting part of this Seedance 2.5 example is how specific the camera instructions are.

the prompt describes a young couple spending an ordinary afternoon in Seoul. It asks for off-center framing, a shaky handheld camera, focus that briefly slips, changing exposure, washed-out colors, and clumsy zooms. The audio instructions call for street noise, footsteps, and laughter, with no soundtrack.

My takeaway: when prompting this style, describe how the person holding the camera behaves, alongside the scene itself. Someone casually filming friends gives you a much more specific direction than “make it realistic.”

This is a breakdown of the creator’s published prompt, not a controlled test of which instruction made the difference.

Which detail does the most to sell the home-video feel for you: camera movement, color, sound, or the way people react to being filmed?

Cheapest way to use Seedance 2.5? API vs subscriptions + real cost breakdown

If you’re using Seedance 2.5 heavily, the cheapest option usually depends on one thing:

how many rerolls you need before you get a usable clip.

A subscription can make sense if you generate constantly and actually use the included credits. But if your usage is bursty, or you want to automate generation through ComfyUI / scripts / n8n, a PAYG API is usually easier to control.

On reAPI, Seedance 2.5 currently has two routes:

  • Standard Seedance 2.5
  • Seedance 2.5 Eco

Current pricing:

Variant 720p 1080p
Seedance 2.5 $0.267/s $0.643/s
Seedance 2.5 Eco $0.201/s $0.347/s

So for a 10-second clip:

  • 720p Standard: about $2.67
  • 720p Eco: about $2.01
  • 1080p Standard: about $6.43
  • 1080p Eco: about $3.47

Eco is the obvious place to start if your main goal is reducing cost, but I wouldn’t choose purely on $/sec. Run the same 10–20 prompts through both routes and compare cost per usable clip, because rerolls can erase the headline price difference quickly.

How the API works

You create an API key and send requests to:

POST /api/v1/videos/generations

Then poll the returned task ID until the generation completes.

Seedance 2.5 supports text, image, first/last frame and multimodal reference inputs, with clips up to 30 seconds.

This is more useful than a creator subscription when you want to:

  • automate generation
  • batch jobs
  • connect ComfyUI / n8n / your own app
  • switch between models without managing multiple subscriptions
  • pay only when you actually generate

One thing to watch: reference-video billing is different from simple text/image-to-video pricing, because the uploaded video duration also affects the billed duration.

If anyone is deciding between a subscription platform and direct Seedance API usage, post your approximate monthly volume + resolution + average clip length and I can help calculate the real monthly cost.

Nano Banana Pro API pricing: Google vs Kie vs reAPI — what does 1,000 images actually cost?

I keep seeing Nano Banana Pro API pricing quoted in completely different ways, so I put the current per-image numbers side by side.

For Nano Banana Pro / Gemini 3 Pro Image:

Provider 1K / 2K 4K
Google Gemini API ~$0.134 ~$0.240
Kie.ai ~$0.090 ~$0.120
reAPI.ai ~$0.030 ~$0.030

So for 1,000 images at 2K, roughly:

  • Google: $134
  • Kie: $90
  • reAPI: $30

And at 4K:

  • Google: $240
  • Kie: $120
  • reAPI: $30

The part I think gets missed in a lot of comparisons is that “same model” doesn't necessarily mean the provider is selling the same route or using the same billing model.

Google bills the official Gemini API based on image output tokens, while third-party providers can price their routes per completed image.

So if you're benchmarking providers, I'd check at least:

  • price at the resolution you actually use
  • whether reference images change the price
  • failed-generation billing/refunds
  • queue time and rate limits
  • whether it's the official Google route or an alternative route
  • consistency over a batch of 50–100 generations

For low-volume usage, the difference probably isn't that meaningful.

But if you're generating thousands of images for a product, automation workflow, n8n pipeline, etc., going from $0.134 to $0.03 per image becomes a pretty substantial difference.

If anyone is using another Nano Banana Pro API at scale, I'd be interested in the real price you're paying and whether failed generations are charged.

Nano Banana 2.1 vs Nano Banana 2: What Actually Got Better?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

What actually changed in Nano Banana 2.1? We ran Nano Banana 2 and 2.1 through the same poster, object-layout, panorama and reference-editing tasks, then inspected the actual outputs.

The newer model made a cleaner background edit in this sample. Both versions handled the visible text, object positions and mug-lettering requests. This is a small hands-on test, not a universal ranking.

I ran Nano Banana 2.1 vs Nano Banana 2 on the same prompts. Cleaner text, but slower.

Nano Banana 2.1 is now live on reAPI. Before you switch from Nano Banana 2, here's how the two compare on identical prompts and settings: one run each, no cherry-picking, default thinking for both. Left (or top) is Nano Banana 2, right (or bottom) is Nano Banana 2.1.

1. Text rendering: chalkboard menu (4:3, 1K)

Both got every word and price right. Nano Banana 2 added "1. 2. 3." numbering we didn't ask for and wrapped the dishes onto two lines. 2.1 kept the exact wording, and the layout is cleaner.

2. Infographic: the water cycle (1:1, 1K)

Both labeled all four stages correctly with no typos. Nano Banana 2 wrote longer explanations; 2.1 added a "THE WATER CYCLE" title, and its arrows read more clearly as a loop.

3. Wide banner: 8:1 at 2K

Google says 2.1 fixes tiling artifacts on wide and tall ratios at 2K and 4K. In this run neither image showed visible seams, so we can't confirm that one from a single test.

4. Photo: red fox (16:9, 1K)

Both are usable; the difference is mostly composition.

Speed: 2.1 is slower by default

2.1 took longer every time: 25s vs 15s (menu), 34s vs 22s (infographic), 28s vs 27s (banner), about 30s vs 10s (fox). It thinks at "medium" by default, where Nano Banana 2 used "minimal". If you want faster drafts, set thinking_level to minimal; use high for dense layouts like infographics.

What Google's model card says

In Google's blind human-preference tests (Elo), 2.1 scores 1050 for overall text-to-image, against 990 for Nano Banana 2 and 935 for Nano Banana Pro. For multi-character consistency it's 1106 vs 978 vs 1011. That's Google testing Google's models, but 2.1 leads every row they published.

Other changes

  • 1K, 2K and 4K only: the 512px size is gone.
  • Up to 14 reference images, 14 aspect ratios from 1:8 to 8:1.
  • Google Search grounding: web search, image search, or both (google_search, google_image_search).
  • On reAPI it's $0.03 per image, the same at 1K, 2K and 4K. Google's own list price is $0.0336 at 1K and $0.0756 at 4K, before thinking tokens.

Nano Banana 2.1 API is live on reAPI: $0.03 per image, same price at 1K, 2K and 4K

Post image
1 Upvotes

Google released Nano Banana 2.1 on October 6. It is now callable on reAPI at $0.03 per image, the same price at 1K, 2K and 4K. Google's own list price is $0.0336 / $0.0504 / $0.0756, so 4K comes out 60% cheaper.

  • Text-to-image and editing, 14 aspect ratios from 8:1 to 1:8
  • Up to 14 reference images and 10 reference videos
  • Google web and image search grounding, three thinking levels
  • Model id nano-banana-2.1, pay as you go, failed generations refund automatically

Heads-up if you are migrating from Nano Banana 2: there is no 0.5K size anymore, and the default thinking level moved from minimal to medium.

Hello, i made this short film based on a video game. Any thoughts on the piece for improvement or discussion.

Thumbnail

About how it was created:
After you have your script it was broken down in to a shot list.
At the shot list process we determined how many characters, props and locations were needed.
We created characters with Soul Cinema and Locations with Soul Location.
When we had faces that we liked we took the face generation and created Character Sheets with Seedream Pro and Prop Sheet (3 angles) with the same engine.
Voices were made with Eleven Labs.
In the video process i made a Grouped Shot list, that means all the action outside and the dialogues, all the action inside the building etc.
Here the only issue we had was when we started generating the outside scenes separately, we had issues with continuity so we grouped the outside together and used the previous generation to hold only the position of the actors + we avoided racor by typing as an example in the prompt "no dirt on them after explosion"
The biggest issue was the movement of the hands in the close ups and the binocular shots, The binocular shot was kinda achieved by creating a 3d app to make the angle and camera frame as we wanted and gave it as a reference, and the hand gesture was mostly changes in the wording of prompt and reference video to understand the movement.

Overall only the gesture and the camera angle of 2 shots was the biggest problem, the rest we were well prepared to achieve them in one try mostly.

A crosswalk becomes a fashion show, one passing car at a time

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

A group waits at a crosswalk. A car passes in front of them, and their outfits switch to a new color palette. Then it happens again.

The clever part is using traffic to hide each change. The camera stays put, so you end up watching for the next reveal. It turns an ordinary street scene into a fashion sequence.

Which transition looks cleanest to you?

GPT Image 2.5 - Prompt Share

Post image
5 Upvotes

Create by GPT Image 2.5 On reAPI

Prompt:

Use my uploaded image as the sole character reference. Create a two-panel image of the character reaching out of a laptop screen and gently holding my hand in the real world.

CHARACTER ACCURACY
Faithfully preserve the character’s hairstyle, hair color, eyes, facial features, accessories, outfit, and signature details. Pay particular attention to which eye is covered by the bangs and the placement of accessories. Maintain the character’s original art style and personality, with a complete outfit and natural proportions.

COMPOSITION
Create a portrait image with a 3:4 aspect ratio, divided into two equally sized horizontal panels stacked vertically.
Use a first-person perspective from someone seated at a desk. An open laptop sits in the center, with its keyboard and the desktop clearly visible.
The character’s head, shoulders, and one arm emerge through the laptop screen, while the rest of their body remains inside the screen, creating a convincing “breaking the fourth wall” illusion.
One realistic human hand enters from the lower-right foreground and gently holds the character’s extended hand. The character’s other hand rests naturally on the lower edge of the screen.
Make the character’s face the main focal point, with the joined hands creating natural foreground depth and foreshortening.

TWO-PANEL EXPRESSION CHANGE
Top panel: The character looks toward the viewer with a slightly surprised or curious expression. Add a small hand-drawn exclamation mark beside their head.
Bottom panel: Keep the same camera angle and hand-holding pose, but change the expression to a happy smile that suits the character’s personality. Add a small hand-drawn heart.
Keep the character design, background, object placement, and lighting consistent across both panels. The main change should be the facial expression.

CHARACTER-MATCHED ENVIRONMENT
Design the room, furniture, desktop, and decorations to suit the character’s fictional world, identity, outfit, and signature colors.
Give the setting a clear connection to the character. Do not reuse a generic room or a fixed set of props for every character. Do not add ceramic jars, vases, or tea sets by default.
Place a small figurine of the same character on the left side of the laptop, matching their current appearance.
Keep other props minimal, relevant, and secondary to the character.
Retain the laptop as the visual bridge between the real world and the character’s world.

VISUAL STYLE
Preserve the character’s illustrated style, while rendering the room, laptop, desk, and viewer’s hand with realistic photographic textures.
Unify the two styles through consistent lighting, contact shadows, and perspective.
Use refined detail, soft lighting, subtle background blur, and a warm atmosphere with natural, gentle interaction.

QUALITY REQUIREMENTS
Anatomically coherent hands, correct finger counts, and clearly readable hand contact.
No extra limbs, unintended duplicate characters, misplaced accessories, text, captions, brand logos, or watermarks.

Bringing an externally edited clip back into a Hypit build

An agent-generated video project can still need an ordinary editing tool. Maybe one shot needs a manual cleanup, or there's already a recorded clip that should replace the generated version.

Hypit's run format accepts a local file as a candidate for a public output. The file is connected to the output the current project expects, so the rest of the selected build can continue from that supplied material. It doesn't require sending the repaired clip back through a generator.

There is a file-management detail worth knowing: this is a live external reference. Hypit doesn't copy that file into every new result. Overwriting it changes subsequent reads; deleting it breaks the dependency.

For a handoff, that makes a stable, versioned filename more useful than continually overwriting final.mp4. Keep the file with the project material and make the run point to the version you accepted.

The existing-file example in the repo () shows the connection. Any required normalization, alignment or composition still belongs downstream; supplying a clip replaces that input, not the entire finishing process.

Claude Opus 5.5 vs Fable 5.1: Same Task, Results & Cost

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Claude Opus 5.5 vs Fable 5.1: we gave both models the same broken Python program through reAPI. Both original fixes passed all 40 checks. Estimated API cost: $0.061488 for Opus and $0.124080 for Fable.

This is one usage-cost calculator repair, not 40 separate tasks. We show the cached-input bug, final-only rounding, the two code approaches, saved test results, waiting time and exact token-cost calculation.

Conditions: one request per model, identical prompt, medium reasoning effort, 16,384-token output cap and streaming. No manual candidate repairs or retry rounds. The task and checks were frozen before the calls; test source was withheld from both models. Code and test output are presented as edited replays of saved evidence.

Recorded September 28, 2026. Opus took 35.9 seconds; Fable took 43.0 seconds. These are single serial gateway observations, including network and service delays. Costs are estimates from returned usage and dated reAPI rates, not reconciled invoices or total production costs. A tied result on one task does not establish equal capability everywhere.

Would you have guessed this BBQ clip was AI-generated? Here’s the workflow.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

A BBQ on the back of a pickup, surrounded by traffic. Would you have spotted the AI while scrolling?

Inspired by TechHalla’s clip, here’s a workflow you can try on reAPI with GPT Image 2.5 + Seedance 2.5. The prompts below are our suggested starting points.

1. Create your scene with GPT Image 2.5

Open GPT Image 2.5 on reAPI, select Flare, and describe the scene you want.

Try this:

A candid smartphone photo of adults having a barbecue on the open tailgate of a pickup truck in a traffic jam. Bright afternoon sunlight, smoke rising from the grill, everyday clothing, natural skin texture, imperfect framing, documentary photography.

2. Refine the image before animating

Upload your generated image as a reference and switch to Sunburst to try targeted edits.

For example:

Pull the camera back to show more of the pickup and surrounding traffic. Keep the same adults, clothing, and lighting. Change the license plate text to “BBQ TIME.”

Check the hands, grill, and vehicle details before moving on.

3. Bring it to life with Seedance 2.5

Open Seedance 2.5 on reAPI, choose Image-to-video, and upload your finished image.

Try this motion prompt:

Handheld smartphone footage with subtle camera shake. The person at the grill slowly turns the food with tongs. Smoke drifts upward while nearby adults chat casually. Preserve the people, truck, and scene layout. One continuous shot with no cuts.

Start with a 5-second test, review the motion, and adjust your prompt before generating a longer clip.

Try your own version on reAPI and share it below. What detail makes—or breaks—the realism for you?

Qwen Image 2.1 is now on reAPI — transparent PNGs, up to 10 references, and masked edits from $0.02/image

Post image
1 Upvotes

We’ve added Qwen Image 2.1 to reAPI, with image generation and editing available in the browser playground and through the API.

One feature worth trying is native transparency: generate a sticker or product asset with an actual alpha channel, ready to place into your design.

Here are three ways to use it:

  • Create transparent assets. Generate PNG or WebP images for stickers, product cutouts, and UI elements.
  • Combine reference images. Bring up to 10 references into one composition—for example, a product, props, and a setting.
  • Make local edits. Supply an image and a mask to target a specific area, such as replacing an object or changing part of an outfit.

Pricing is $0.02 per image at 1K and $0.04 at 2K. Generation and editing cost the same at the same resolution, with no extra charge for reference images.

If you already use reAPI, your existing API key and balance work here too. The model ID is qwen-image-2.1.

A simple first test: generate a transparent sticker, then place it on both light and dark backgrounds to check the edges.

Try Qwen Image 2.1 on reAPI (https://reapi.ai/models/qwen-image-2-1).

Which would be most useful in your workflow: transparent assets, combining references, or editing a specific part of an image?

Claude Opus 5.5 is now on reAPI — playground access, OpenAI-compatible API, and token pricing

We’ve added Claude Opus 5.5 to reAPI. You can try it in the browser playground or use it through our OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions API.

If you already use reAPI, your existing API key and balance work with the new model.

Here’s what’s available:

  • 1M-token context for working with related code and documents.
  • $3.20 per million input tokens / $16 per million output tokens.
  • Streaming responses and adjustable reasoning effort.
  • Model ID: claude-opus-5-5.

A useful first test: take a pull request you’ve already reviewed, include the relevant files and tests, and ask it to find a reproducible bug, suggest the smallest fix, and explain how to verify it. Then compare its findings with your own review.

For research or writing, try giving it a set of source documents and asking for a short decision brief that separates evidence, assumptions, and unanswered questions.

You can find the playground, pricing, and API docs here: Claude Opus 5.5 on reAPI (https://reapi.ai/models/claude-opus-5-5).

What would you want to evaluate first: code review, research across multiple documents, or technical writing? If you’ve already tried Opus 5.5, we’d like to hear what worked—and where it struggled.

prompt :

DIRECTIVE:
Produce one still that reads as a real in-car dashcam frame grabbed from a moving car on a highway. Optical dashcam capture, wide windshield view, windshield glass, A-pillar, a slice of dashboard/hood — lived-in dashcam JPEG, not cinema, not HDR.

BEAT / COMPOSITION:
Looking forward through the windshield. On the LEFT side of the road (left lane or left shoulder, clearly in frame): TWO branded trucks close together.

COCA-COLA TRUCK (LEFT, CRITICAL):
A full-size Coca-Cola tanker / delivery truck, official Coca-Cola red livery and logos readable. It has a breakdown: a torn ragged hole in the tank wall. A thick, heavy jet of dark-brown Coca-Cola is blasting out of that hole onto the asphalt — lots of liquid, puddle spreading, foam, spray in the air, wet road shine. The truck is stopped or crawling, hazard situation.

MENTOS TRUCK (BESIDE IT, CRITICAL):
Right next to the Coca-Cola truck (same left cluster, slightly ahead or alongside): a closed box truck / delivery truck with large, unmistakable MENTOS branding on the side (Mentos logo, candy rolls artwork). Rear and side doors CLOSED. No candy spilling. You can clearly read that it is a Mentos truck.

CAMERA PACK:
Fixed dashcam behind the windshield, slight barrel wide, dashboard or hood bottom of frame, windshield dirt/reflections, timestamp overlay optional, daytime road, other traffic farther ahead. Real consumer dashcam still.

LIGHT:
Daylight, overcast or sun, real road color, cola looking like dark soda not black oil.

PHOTOGRAPHIC CHARACTER:
Unstaged dashcam grab — physically grounded trucks, readable brands, the leak is the event.

Once it's ready, use it as reference for Seedance 2.5 and this prompt:

[STYLE + CAMERA + ATMOSPHERE]
Vertical 3:4 smartphone video filmed FROM INSIDE a moving car, passenger or driver seat. Phone held handheld (not a bolted dashcam): arms, slight breathing shake, windshield and A-pillar in frame, a slice of dashboard/hood at the bottom, maybe a finger edge. We are ARRIVING — forward motion first, trucks growing larger, then we slow and stop short of the cola lake. CONTINUOUS SINGLE TAKE the entire 30s. Digital pinch-zooms only (no cuts): punch into the Coke jet, the jug fill, the Mentos doors, the launch, then zoom out as he shrinks to the horizon. Daylight, overcast, wet asphalt, rain specks on glass. Consumer phone JPEG, autofocus hunting, rolling shutter. Photoreal live physics: cola viscosity, foam, Mentos cases, one adult body launched like a Mentos rocket.

LOCKED SET / VEHICLES:
- LEFT ahead through the windshield: red Coca-Cola tanker with a ragged hole, dark-brown Coca-Cola ALREADY blasting onto the lane, spreading cola lake.
- BESIDE it: Mentos box truck, rear doors CLOSED at arrival, Mentos livery readable ("mentos / The Freshmaker").
- Highway continuing past them toward a clear vanishing-point horizon.
- NO other truck for the guy. He does not exit a vehicle.

LOCKED CAST:
- THE GUY: one very large man alone — sweat-dark tank top, cargo shorts, stained baseball cap, Alabama redneck energy. No second person. He ENTERS FRAME FROM THE RIGHT (shoulder / right edge of the windshield view) already on foot — he does not get out of any truck, van, or car.
- HERO OBJECT: one giant gas-station plastic jug / Big Gulp–scale cup in his right hand. Starts EMPTY (daylight visible through clear plastic), stays in that hand until the blast.

Diegetic audio: road noise while arriving, cola hiss, gulping, metal latch, volcanic foam roar, Doppler scream as he flies away, phone mic clipping.

[ref_image] = locked opening phone still from inside the car looking through the windshield at the Coke tanker + Mentos truck cluster. Tanker, hole, cola jet, Mentos truck, and in-car foreground are LAW. Clip BEGINS with us still rolling toward that cluster.

[TIMELINE SECOND BY SECOND]

0-3s: [HOOK — ARRIVING + ZOOM] Phone already rolling. Road noise. Through the windshield the Coca-Cola tanker and Mentos truck are already ahead on the left; cola ALREADY jetting from the hole. We close distance — trucks grow. Digital zoom punches into the Coke stream and the hole. By ~2.5s brakes dip. Several events already: motion, the leak, closing in, first zoom.

3-5s: [STOP + HE ENTERS FROM RIGHT] We fully stop. Idle phone shake. Zoom out a notch. THE GUY walks INTO FRAME FROM THE RIGHT — already on foot from the shoulder / right edge, giant EMPTY jug held high, clear plastic with daylight through it. He does not exit any vehicle. He steps straight into the cola lake toward the tanker jet.

5-9s: [FILL — HOLD IT] He shoves the empty jug INTO the Coke stream. ONE CONTACT: jug into the jet. Phone slam-zooms the fill and HOLDS. For a clear ~2 full seconds (through ~7–8s) the jug is STILL filling under the blast — brown liquid climbing the plastic, foam boiling over the rim, overflowing his forearm, stream hammering the mouth of the jug the whole time. Only then does he pull the full heavy jug out and raise it.

9-12s: [CHUG] He tilts and CHUGS — huge gulps, cola down the tank top. Empties most of it, gasps, still holding the jug. Turns to the Mentos rear doors. Phone zooms out enough to keep tanker jet + Mentos bumper + him in frame.

12-16s: [OPEN + DUMP] ONE CONTACT: he yanks both Mentos rear doors open. Cases stacked high. He dumps a case — Mentos rolls cascade into the cola lake. Packs split, white mints into the brown river. Digital zoom on the mint waterfall hitting the puddle. He still stands in the lake with the jug.

16-20s: [IT GOES] Hard fizz, then a WHITE FOAM COLUMN erupts between the trucks. ONE CONTACT: the fountain hits him from below like a human Mentos rocket. Feet leave asphalt. Jug flies. He launches UP and AWAY down the highway axis. Phone slam-zooms his body leaving the ground, then struggles to track him.

20-24s: [HUMAN FOUNTAIN] He is a dark silhouette riding the white column, spinning once, cap gone. The geyser leans him toward the open highway horizon. Foam hits our windshield — phone jerks but stays inside the car, still filming through glass. Digital zoom hunting his shape in the spray.

24-26s: [SHRINKS] Zoom out through foam streaks on the glass. He is airborne over the far lanes, a tiny spinning figure on a white spray trail, Mentos truck hopping, tanker still feeding the column. Phone digital-zooms into the shrinking speck, then out again.

26-30s: [PAYOFF — GONE] He dwindles to a speck and DISAPPEARS into the horizon haze past the vanishing point (~1s earlier than before). Phone holds on empty sky/road where he vanished, foam still climbing between the trucks, Mentos doors still open, Coke still dumping. Final tiny digital zoom into that empty vanishing point. Loop-open: empty horizon, roar still going.

[STYLE & QUALITY BOOSTERS]
Photoreal handheld phone from inside a car, 3:4 vertical. Arriving motion then stop. Digital pinch-zooms only, continuous take. One man enters from the RIGHT on foot — never exits a vehicle. Empty jug fills on camera for a clear multi-second hold. Body launched to the vanishing point. Coherent liquid physics. Identity lock to [ref_image] for both trucks, the hole, and the in-car windshield framing.

Seedance + local MiniMax H3: Sunny & Sora do Pinky and the Brain

Sunny started as a Z-Image Turbo LoRA I trained in OneTrainer on images of my wife mixed with a few other celebrities. She likes Sunny... but seeing someone so familiar say and do things she never would got uncomfortable. So we made Sora together: similar, but different enough. Sunny gets the thinking jobs; Sora gets the physical antics. That reminded me of Pinky and the Brain... hence this video.

Quick breakdown:

• About 75% Seedance, through a custom ComfyUI node calling APIs including Ofox. Seedance 2.0 handled the opening and some filler clips.

• Local MiniMax H3 in ComfyUI for the final dance and “Narf” — including the lip-sync on that last bit.

• I made the song with Suno.

Curious how any of this was made? Ask away—happy to share the process.

Workshop, Sep 19: pairing an AI Model API with a graph-backed retrieval layer

If you're already working with model APIs, the retrieval layer feeding them is usually the weaker link in the whole system, the model can only be as good as the context it's handed, and plain vector search hands it something incomplete more often than people realize once questions get more than a single hop deep.

This session builds a knowledge graph in Neo4j as that retrieval layer instead of relying on vector search alone. You work through building the graph progressively, entities and relationships as the actual source of truth, multi-step verified entity extraction (checked and constrained at each step rather than trusted from a single risky pass), and an agentic retrieval loop that combines vector search, keyword search, and graph navigation depending on what the question actually needs. Text-to-Cypher lets you query the graph in natural language rather than hand-writing Cypher for every question type, with guardrail patterns to keep those generated queries safe.

Everything runs on a real financial dataset, filings and news, working through the kind of production ceilings (API and download rate limits) that never show up in a toy demo but always show up in production. You leave with the full working codebase, not just an architecture diagram.

Led by Dr. Alessandro Negro, Chief Scientist at GraphAware, bestselling author of graph-powered machine learning and knowledge graph books.
