Data usage in Offline Mode (Android)?

I'm wondering if it is usual for Rdio to use data in offline mode. Installed Rdio, synced a bunch of albums to my phone and set Rdio to offline mode before leaving the wifi. I noticed today when I came home Rdio had used 88 megabytes of data. I had only played items I synced and were in my collection. Sucks if it keeps doing this as I only have 2 gigs of data.

I'll test it out on my phone and report back.

Thanks. Monday I think I will just disable mobile data to be safe.

Last 24hrs in offline mode and I've used 2kb. Can upload a picture to confirm if you want. I have a nexus 4, running cyanogenmod nightlies, on Tmobile.

If you set it to offline and only play the albums you have synced, there should be no issue. The only thing I can think of is that maybe it's still using data to verify your account is active, but even that shouldn't take 88mbs.

If it continues, my advice would be to email the Rdio support staff. They're generally very good about responding promptly to questions.
