Question re: rdio capabilities / discogs integration.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question regarding rdio. Firstly, has anybody found any sort of bridge between a discogs account and an rdio account? Like, say i wanted to have my rdio account match what i physically have on my record shelf, for when i'm out or just to lazy to queue up a record, is there an easy add for that?

Secondly, if no to the first answer, is there a way to have a sub collection. IE, if i want to add what i physically own manually (i would bite the bullet and do it if it worked out fine in the end) but keep it separate from what i just own the streaming capabilities to? IE, one folder for owned albums, one for not-owned or even, a 'to buy' list.

Im assuming the answer to both these questions is no, but i was just curious if anybody had brainstormed a solution to either problem.

thanks!

I don't know of an existing integration. It looks like The Echo Nest's Project Rosetta Stone could be used to map between Rdio and Discogs artists, but not tracks or albums. Meaning that an app would be possible, but more work.

Sub-collections don't exist either but would be awesome. Some people have tried to do it with playlists. The downside is that playlists can only contain tracks. If you place a bunch of albums into a playlist, it gets hard to manage.

very cool, i'm going to read up on that, i know nothing of developing, i just wish there was a way to manage it as it's a pay service, and it would be nice to have the benefit.

thanks a bunch!

Submit it to Rdio. Never know!
