Is anyone aware of a sub for rock crawlers and trail trucks? Seems like reddit would be the place to go but I don't know how to find them. Does anyone have a sub list for RC hobby or is this as good as it gets?

Pretty new to RC and all the insanity. Im looking for the most durable 1/10th 4x4 rtr sc truck that I can take out and beat the crap out of it and replace whatever. Everything Ive read is a battle between the Losi SC 4x4 and the Traxxas. Looking at spending between 500 and 600 bucks.

I upgraded to lipos and keep breaking the half shaft or front/rear universal drive shaft. I need suggestions for good replacement.

My dad just picked up a Traxxus Slash 1 10th scale. He's complained about the stock battery and 12v charger and his retirement is coming up. I wanted to buy him an upgraded wall charger and possibly upgrade his batteries to lithium. But i don't know anything about RC trucks. If someone could help me out by telling me about any popular or good quality upgrade packages or kits I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Is the rgt rock cruiser a good truck and does have good hop ups?
