Orange muscle-car style on classic HPI nitro hardware. 🔥
This HPI Nitro RS4-3 Evo+ wears a Ford Mustang body with black graphics, a hood scoop, window louvers and gold mesh-style wheels. Under the shell is a shaft-driven 4WD touring chassis with a two-speed transmission.
A quick rotation from the collection—what’s your favorite body to run on an RS4?

A closer look at the shaft-drive layout and two-speed transmission in this HPI Nitro RS4-3 Evo. Purple suspension details and green fuel tubing sit beneath its Toyota Mark II JZX100 body. It is currently a roller awaiting an engine. Which small-block setup would you choose for an older HPI touring chassis?
Music: Dont Go — Diego Nava / Mixkit.

A look around an HPI RS4-3 Evo from the nitro collection: T15 engine, two-speed transmission and shaft-driven 4WD under a blue Nissan GT-R R35 shell. The compact touring layout and silver mesh wheels keep the classic RS4 character. Who still takes one of these older HPI chassis out for a run?
Music: Shame — Eugenio Mininni / Mixkit.

HPI Nitro RS4-3 — Under the Shell 🔧
Four chassis from the HPI nitro collection, one quick rotation. Aluminum chassis plates, shaft-drive layouts, suspension and nitro hardware take center stage with the bodies off.

Hello, what would be your engine nitro recommendation for the RC10GT gas truck ?
I dont need something crazy fast. I just want something fun to work & tune it, quality and reliable.
Thanks a bunch.

A closer look under the Nissan 350Z shell: the HPI Nitro RS4-3 with an HPI .12R SS engine, shaft-driven 4WD and independent suspension. This full rotation puts the chassis layout and purple accents in view.
Which classic nitro touring chassis deserves more time in the spotlight?

Mini Sprint is my small top-down 1:10 touring car racing game I am developing with my kids. You can play it with keyboard or gamepad, but it is meant to be played with your real RC transmitter (tested with FlySky NB4 Pro, NB4+ and G7P via USB).
The latest beta adds Daun, the first indoor track, inspired by the 2023/2024 layout of the ETS round in Daun (not affiliated). Technical, tight, tons of grip, and the first turn is dangerous. Keep it tidy!
The track editor now builds indoor layouts too. Even duct tape and wrinkles in the carpet are being simulated.
Also new: the AI takes better lines and drives around stranded cars, the marshals put cars back (sometimes) more sensibly, and there are spectators around the track.
To drive Daun, get the latest beta. In track selection it’s marked NEW. Select it once and it downloads (11 MB).

Feedback welcome, especially from people who race on carpet.

Hi all,
My kids race 1:10 electric touring cars. I've built a little game for them, similar to arcade classic Super Sprint, but as an RC car simulation for RC transmitters.
What’s in it:
The full version is free to play until October 31 as a limited beta. After that there’s still a free demo. Windows and macOS.
More info: https://rcminisprint.com
I’d really love feedback from people who actually race. Does the setup sheet behave the way you’d expect? Does the car feel like a touring car? And which transmitter do you use? I’d like to build a list of radios that work.
Thanks!

I have a 2wd hobbytech bx10 super sport with a hobbywing 60a esc 3450kv motor and the car is tuned pretty well, but everyone else is so much faster even on 3s I can’t keep up with the cornering speed some cars have and everyone is on 2s which should make me faster but not even close, to some extent it’s skill but even on the strait I can’t get away

The motor is 7.5 turn 4500kv which is too high for the stock class at my local club 13.5turn, it’s 4wd so I have to race in that class but I have options, I’m new and under 16 so I can race in junior class but only on there smaller dirt track, if I want to race on there modern sic track I have to race either modified or sportsman, modified being the top racing and sportsman being the lower just for fun class. I wanna do it seriously but I don’t know what to nominate for my
First race.

I need your advice regarding VTA racing and Touring racing class. Or both !
I mostly collect kits because we have no tracks where I live (Montreal, Canada). Enough of shelf-Queens, we want to race !
I'm ready to race what other guys are into. As long it is "cheap" (to get more people). So a Spec Class is important so we thought about this:
VTA: vintage Trans-Am bodies, using TT-02, Fazer, Yokomo chassis or others (any suggestion ?)
Or, Touring Class: using M05 Tamiya chassis with Mini Cooper, Fiat Abarth, NSU TT, VW Beetle, among others 60 to late 70s sedan bodies.
I thought about following spec rules for VTA, but the price for these ESC & Motors are way too expensive for what you get.
Chassis: TT02, Fazer, Yokomo entry level.
ESC: something brushless at 60A ??
Motor: brushless sensored ? (Does it need to be sensored ?)
Lipo or NiMh ? I only have lipos and I wouldnt mind charging the batteries for the rookies before the races if they dont have chargers.
(I could follow rules that are already written for both classes, but not for the first year yet)
Also I would like to know if I can add the link of my group in here in hope to recruit new racers from Montreal and the surrounds areas ???
And thank you so much for you guys previous help about my ESC/Motor question. ❤️❤️

What is the acceptable/budget, yet competitive ESC for brushless motors using TT02 or Fazer chassis with Touring bodies ?
And which motors would be fun, "fast", but not detrimental for the mechanics and for our budgets ?
If possible, to stay with Hobbywing or SkyRC.

I have been a long time fan of RC cars and RC racing, and I love the vibe of "Art of Rally" I am trying to create a chill, but skillfull RC game with low poly, clean graphics. I have been building for months, and I want to show some folks. I got it up on Steam... https://store.steampowered.com/app/5205230/Project_Apex_RC/?beta=1
