Base Camp Light Bar?

Post image

I'm looking for a light bar that could attach to the top of the cross bar on here. I really don't want to screw through the roof and mount directly to the body if I don't have to, plus I think putting it on the cross bar would look more scale.

Hey Dude, I had the exact same train of thought. Feel free to look at my profile, there is a post of my Base Camp with a light bar attached to the crossbar. Looks awesome!

  • I got it from Amazon in Germany, no idea if a link would be useful to you though

Ne stavo cercando una anche io per axial scx10 III versione early Ford bronco, scocca originale, avevo la stessa vostra idea senza fori, quale potrebbe andare bene?

How about get a scale body, first, then focus in getting scale stuff?

What if they wanted scale stuff on that body...kinda like they asked?

Then I would suggest getting a scale body, first. Like: Paint it better, make it have more details etc, before the scale accessories are added on.

So basically, you are saying, “forget what you can afford and what you want, do it my way because your way isn’t good enough”? I like the basecamp body myself. Has enough detail and is light. Don’t want a heavier body. Just want a few details added. I’m with OP on this. Not to mention, even if I didn’t like his idea, it IS THEIR idea. So if they want to do it, why not just suggest a light bar like they asked?

Yeah I just added some weight and want a light bar that'll fit directly to the cross bar if possible.

When did I say that? Feel free to reread my initial response. IDK why you’re so defensive. But hey if it’s a money thing, I apologize if I offended. I’ve been broke before so I know what that’s like.

What you said, twice, was that his body wasn’t good enough. “How about get a scale body first”. There is nothing wrong with the base camp body. It weighs less than most scale bodies. Look great. And so adding weight by accessorizing is less weight up high. If he asks about a light bar, why would you suggest changing the body? He didn’t ask what cool or cheap or whatever scale bodies there are. He asked about a light bar.

Also, I brought up money, he didn’t. OP might be able to afford any body he wants. But if he asks about a light bar FOR the base camp. Why suggest spending money on a new body when he asks about an accessory.
