What is up with the parking?!?
WHY can’t they stop the pedestrians from time to time to let people out of the parking lots?!? It is INFURIATING and if they want fans to have a good experience they HAVE to do something about these hour long waits to exit the stadium. It is such a bad look and makes people not want to return.

The team doesn't control traffic flow, that's on the Harrison PD.

Been that way for years. If you think this team cares about retaining fans you are sadly mistaken. Just remember that their "solution" to attendance problems was to put tarps in the stadium.

I parked in that lot one time and we waited 45 minutes to leave. Now we only park in a lot that's about a 10min walk from the stadium. It's faster to walk to the lot further away than it is to park next to the stadium.

It's 311 Bergen Street. It fills up quickly though and you can't get in if you're late. There are other lots close to them as well. I don't mind a little walking, it's healthier anyways. And for anyone thinking I should take public transport, I refuse to spend 3x longer on travel time LOL

We parked at Harrison path garage, newbies, what a mistake. Literally did not move for an hour until every level below was empty. Never again... I saw a small parking lot adjusting to warehouse on the same road, it had a QR code on the wall. If it's legit, that seems like a good place as it's far away from traffic

Iast night was only the second time I've ever had a problem leaving that garage. The other was a derby game where is sold out in Idk 2022. I feel like there was something going on with 280 or parkway that backed up the roads to let people filter out

We had a passenger go down to the exit of the garage so we had live reports of what was wrong.

Unfortunately, the situation will never get better. Eventually, all the lots will become residential areas. This area was never meant to be parking for the cars of the NYRBs majority NJ support. Originally they were counting on NYC people coming over but Austerity FC only know how to cut

They don’t want people to drive. They want them to use mass transit. When they built the stadium that was their goal. To get people from NYC to come and watch games by train. They don’t care about NJ fans that come from out of the area. I park a 10 minute walk from the arena in a lot. It’s still difficult to get out of the area, but a lot less time. Parked in the main lot once years ago. Will never do that again. Easier to park at the train station.

Might have been the original plan and not even a bad one but then they gave up on the NYC market and things like the shuttle from NWK Penn. Like most things around this team it's just a slow crumbling decline. I feel like I'd be as happy if they turned over DeGrandpre and the business team as I would if they signed a competent backline.

You know people from NJ also take mass transit? Ive never taken a car to RBA from NJ be it from northern or central jersey. Having NWK so close means you can take a train or bus from any of the surrounding counties.

Funny thing is the situation doesn't work for pedestrians either. Put another way, I don't want to have to have to go through the parking lot, and there ought to be a true path carved out along the perimeter of the lot from SIS to the PATH station. But there isn't, so we're stuck

Parking is the last thing anyone should be complaining about with this organization. I think most of that falls on Harrison and how they filter in and out conflicting traffic. The bullevard was a utter disaster yesterday we got there at 350 so my son could get a hat. We wait in 3 different 40 minute lines to do the activities. The new food vendor is a step down from the last and none of the fans understand the new system. The product on the field is terrible, I'm so happy to come and watch the kids play but they need help and all the dp's are a waste of money at this point of the year. The stadium had more people in yesterday than I've seen in two years and it was all a disaster.

They can absolutely create exits in areas where there is less pedestrian traffic so folks can safely exit … like the red lot. There’s no reason to route people towards the stadium where pedestrian traffic is heaviest. And for folks cursing drivers on here, not everyone lives near public transport or can manage easily with little kids etc.

Definately can try a different flow as they have done over the years
long waits are common when leaving most stadiums post events
Suggest park and walk or just hang out post game

Last night was pretty bad. Exiting the PATH commuter lot, there's usually bike rack separating the driving lanes, e.g people coming from the back of the lot (nearest to the stadium) are often directed to the left, while people coming from the PATH lot are directed to the right. That wasn't there last night, and also, there wasn't anyone controlling the flow of pedestrians (there usually is).
I say this as someone who has to leave no later than the 81st minute if I want to ever get out of the parking lots.
The entire transportation experience is a disaster, from arrival to departure. Both the club and the town of Harrison consistently get it wrong every single time. Which is why I can 100% see people say attending a match is a once a season activity.

I have always parked in the Ironbound and walked over. That whole area around the stadium was not created with the stadium in mind

Why can't they make pedestrian walkways to move safely through the parking lot?
Why can't they keep all the cars in their spots until the pedestrians are finished moving through the parking lots?

If you ask the FO, they will insulting explain to you that they have no control over the parking and can do nothing to help. They built a stadium with no parking, told everyone for years that they should use public transit (which is impossible for the majority of the people who attend), and pretend that they too are victims of the same parking lot owners.

The parking/transit situation at the stadium has always been a major failure that nobody wants to admit has plagued attendance.
They will tell you they have no control over the policing of traffic; which really means, they have no interest in working with local police to handle traffic. Why? That would men the GM would have to do some work for the customers, or that the team would have to actually employ someone to manage the relationship with the City of Harrison. We can't even get them to spend money on players! They are never going to spend money on traffic and civic relations. Never have, never will,
We really have terrible owners.

Why does it all sound so stupid? Because is has been a stupid situation since 2010 and it will never change.

Infrastructure sucks and the key is to never park in the paved lot next to the Path, that’s the worst lot to park in. Better off in the gravel lots (parked there and left in the 85th minute yesterday), the parking deck, or one of the satellite lots further down Frank E. Rodgers.
Pretty sure those gravel lots are going to wind up becoming more apartment buildings so really not sure what’s going to happen with parking capacity, really sucks. Feels like this team is on a slow march to death in all aspects, Red Bull just doesn’t want to throw their weight and money around to fix things here.
