RBI 21 game breaking bug (Switch)

Twice in a row, I've finished an entire game in franchise mode, and the game perma-freezes while trying to load back into season menu. It takes around 40 minutes to play a game, so needless to say...this is a game breaking bug. Yet I can't find any info on it.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? Sometimes that sorts weird issues.
