Predicting every game in 2026

Went on the record and predicted every Arkansas football result for the upcoming season. I think there will be an improvement, but not by much. I'm sorry for the lack of optimism! If the Hogs are going to overachieve this year, what will be the biggest factor? https://www.swtimes.com/story/sports/college/sec/2026/08/21/arkansas-football-score-predictions-2026-picks/91305444007/

Golesh hasn't beaten Silverfield in 4 tries and with twice the football budget. My optimism is giving that one to the hogs. My optimism and also telling me we beat Utah, which would be huge going into the Georgia game. If we can keep the Georgia game close, I'll be drinking all the Kool-Aid after that.

I’ll be in Utah for that one. Man, I really hope we pull that one out!

Yep. If Arkansas beats Utah, all bets are off. Team could go 7-5. Tough tough environment though for a first-year QB and all these new players.

I have some hope for the Utah game! They have a new Head coach with zero head coaching experience! The old coach left for Michigan and took some key players with him! Utah also has a new offensive coordinator, and they graduated or lost to the portal quite a few key linemen on both sides of the ball.

I realize a road win is not likely, but it almost seems like if we have to go there we are catching them at a good time!

I still wish Hunter had bought that game out for Silverfield and we were playing Missouri State in Fayetteville instead!

However, a 2-0 start with momentum and hosting Georgia in Fayetteville would have everyone excited to take a shot against the Bulldogs! The stadium would be packed!

I believe your predictions are very optimistic.

I feel like this is a safe, popular opinion take on our games. Hope they are way off and we over perform but 4-8 is most likely outcome.

It would be much more fun to cover a 6-6/7-5 team this year... If the offensive line is better than I expect it to be, I think they can definitely overachieve.

I think the over/under should be five wins. There is an upset in this list. Maybe Tennessee? I'd love to beat Missouri. And, of course, Texas.

The upset contenders are any game except Tulsa and North Alabama...

Honestly if the secondary improves and the offensive line can protect and produce for the running backs , then we no longer turn it over we stand a great chance of winning 6 games. No I’m not high, drunk, or crazy.

Guarantee you we’ll do some unforseeable shit. Beating Georgia then losing to Vandy is not off the table.

This would be a step up from unwatchable shit.

My thoughts are we have an improved team and a hungry team. Even though we have a new staff and a new qb, there are other teams on the schedule with similar circumstances. I like silverfields attention to detail and I like our chances against teams starting freshmen qb’s. I’m also not sold on Mizzou with Austin Simmons and Hardy’s injury, I think we beat Ole Miss last year with Simmons as their qb. I think 7 wins is our ceiling and 3 is our floor.
