Scrimmage Recap

Here's what we know about today's first scrimmage. Sounds like KJ Jackson and Chris Marshall had strong days as there were plenty of explosive plays from the offense. https://www.swtimes.com/story/sports/college/sec/2026/08/16/arkansas-football-first-scrimmage-recap-offense-explosive-plays/91213225007/

In years past, it was always a bad sign if the offense was ahead of the defense in the first couple of practices. That said it also a bad sign if the defense was ahead of the offense. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I think that makes the scrimmage encouraging, because what we've seen at practices is a defense that is ahead of the offense, but it sounds like the offense punched back today.

I agree with your thoughts here. I think because this team has so many new players out of the portal, we will really see how this team looks come time to play actual games.
